Delivered in 2018, Stern is an award winning 49.98m motor yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Wider Yachts. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Ideaeitalia, while her exteriors have been penned by Fulvio de Simoni.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.45m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.
This was the first yacht built on the Wider 165 design. Launched in May 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Wider Yachts' Ancona yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in September 2018.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Stern is characterized by its clean lines and practical elements. The deck is constructed from teak, providing durability and a classic aesthetic. Both the hull and the superstructure are painted white, giving the vessel a cohesive and sleek appearance. The boot top is highlighted in orange, adding a distinct touch of color above the black section below the waterline.
At the bow, the touch-and-go helicopter pad is integrated into the deck, maintaining a flush surface that does not disrupt the yacht's overall appearance. This design choice makes the deck versatile, suitable for both technical and leisure activities.
Moving aft, the transom of the yacht opens up to reveal a spacious beach club and an indoor-outdoor swimming pool. This area also has the capacity to host a sizable tender. The design ensures that when the tender is launched, the space converts effortlessly, providing a practical and enjoyable environment for relaxation and entertainment.
The sundeck is another key feature, offering ample room for sunbathing and outdoor activities. The layout is straightforward and efficient, maximizing the use of space without compromising on comfort. The deck is equipped with multiple outdoor dining tables, which can be configured in various ways to accommodate both formal dining and casual gatherings.
Interior Design
The main saloon features multiple floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing ample natural light to flood the space. Chocolate-brown leather sofas provide seating, and the wooden floor creates a seamless transition between the interior and the aft deck, accessible through two sliding glass doors. A television is installed in the ceiling and can rotate 180 degrees, allowing it to be viewed from different areas of the saloon. This television can also be adjusted in height for optimal viewing from either the dining area or the living area.
The yacht includes several fold-out balconies situated in the master suite as well as the gym and sauna area located on the main deck. These terraces are equipped with teak decking that slides out to lie flush, ensuring a sleek appearance when the balconies are not in use. The railings for these terraces are electrically operated.
Accommodation
Stern is designed to accommodate a considerable number of guests across several cabins. Each guest stateroom is meticulously appointed with high-quality materials, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. Every guest stateroom also features its own en suite bathroom, delivering a level of privacy and convenience akin to the finest hotel suites.
The owner's suite on the Stern is an expansive apartment that includes several luxurious features. It boasts a relaxing lounge area that can be opened up to enjoy the sea breeze and scenic views with just the touch of a button. This suite also includes a full walk-in closet, adding to the convenience and storage options available to the owner.
Moreover, the owner's suite comes with a sophisticated private bathroom, enhancing the overall comfort of the space. A personal gymnasium is also part of the suite, allowing the owner to maintain their fitness routine while enjoying the sea views. Additionally, a star pool sauna is available, providing an extra layer of relaxation.
She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 4 x diesel-electric MAN (D287LE443) 805hp engines, motor yacht Stern is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 57,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,400 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Rest and relaxation can be achieved on board, thanks to a luxury spa. In addition, adjoining the water, a beach club lets those on board enjoy the feeling of being close to the sea. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories.
