Acali Yacht

Design & Construction

Designed around a catamaran GRP hull and superstructure she features a 39'4" beam and a 5'5" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 242 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the WiderCat 92 design. Launched in January 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Wider Yachts' Wider Fano Shipyard yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in May 2024.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Acali features a catamaran hull configuration, which provides stability and ample deck space. The inverted bow shape enhances its performance and efficiency in various sea conditions. The deck is constructed from teak, offering durability and a classic maritime appearance. The hull is painted white, contrasting with the black superstructure to create a striking visual profile. An orange boot top adds a touch of distinctiveness, while below the waterline, the hull is finished in black.

The cockpit offers ample space with separate tables and a large lounger, protected from the wind by a glass section. The side decks are wide enough to accommodate sun loungers. Moving forward, the foredeck area includes storage under the windscreen and space for jet skis with the help of a crane. The sun pad area is ideal for enjoying the evening sun.

The upper aft deck is designed for entertaining, featuring a spacious bar, comfy lounges, and control connections for driving the yacht. This area also includes a separate grill and additional storage.

The lower deck features a spacious tender garage, capable of holding a 5.5-meter tender or a 4.5-meter tender with a jet ski. The garage door can be lowered to create a bathing platform, with a zip-in section to cover the storage area. The 67 square meters beach club includes drop-down balconies at water level, providing direct access to the VIP cabins.

Interior Design

The main deck saloon is spacious, featuring a large round table suitable for dining, drinks, or games. The seating area on the starboard side provides ample space for movement, with a day head discreetly tucked away. The design incorporates recurring roundel motifs in the ceiling, adding visual consistency without overwhelming the space.

The upper saloon, located behind the bridge, offers a more intimate setting. This area is ideal for evening relaxation, with comfortable seating and a TV for entertainment. The design elements from the main saloon are echoed here, maintaining a cohesive look throughout the yacht.

The galley, though primarily a functional space, is designed with the same attention to detail as guest areas. It features ample storage, countertop induction cooking, an oven, a microwave, and a large refrigerator. The galley is accessible from the main deck and connects to the crew staircase, allowing for efficient service. A side door provides direct access to the port side deck, enabling crew movement without disrupting guests.

Accommodation

The owner's suite features a centrally located bed, allowing easy movement around the room. The headroom is ample, and large windows provide spectacular views and natural light. The suite also includes a large bathroom equipped with marble sinks, a toilet, bidet, and a sizable shower cubicle with views over the water. Storage is abundant, with space wrapping halfway around the cabin. An additional feature is the owner's pantry, which includes storage, a galley top, and space for a coffee machine and drinks cooler.

Acali has two VIP cabins located in the port and starboard hulls. Each VIP cabin is equipped with a large bed, detailed with red leather accents and bendy reading lights. The cabins feature big windows for ample natural light and have large private bathrooms. A standout feature is the access to a private terrace through watertight doors, allowing guests to easily step out for activities like swimming or paddleboarding. The terraces connect to the main platform, enhancing the sense of a private beach club.

The third guest cabin on Acali is designed with individual beds. The cabin is detailed with pink accents, including pink marble in the bathroom sinks. The room provides ample space between the beds and includes the same high-quality details as the other cabins, such as leather-covered lights and a small bureau.

The crew area can accommodate four members and is divided between the two hulls. The captain's cabin is located in the port side hull and includes a single bed with an additional pullman berth, a private bathroom, a bureau, and hanging storage. The crew mess is well-equipped with modern amenities, natural light, a dinette with a drop-down table, and a TV. This area also offers good oversight and control of the boat systems, including camera monitoring.

Performance & Capabilities

The hybrid propulsion system remains a key feature of the WiderCat 92, with twin electric motors delivering 500kW each to the thrusters and two 349kW variable speed generators for electrical energy production. This allows cruising in ZEM (Zero Emission Mode) with a range of 27 nautical miles at 6 knots in complete silence, or 14 hours autonomy on battery power at anchor. On bright, sunlit days, the 75 m² of solar panels on the WiderCat 92 can ensure full energy self-sufficiency when anchored.

Motor catamaran yacht Acali is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 10,000 litre fuel tanks, she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 8 knots.
