Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and a steel/aluminium superstructure she features a 9.61m beam and a 3.25m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 643 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Te Streep stands out due to its distinctive artwork that features different types of coral painted across her black hull, extending over the white superstructure. This visual element adds a unique character to the yacht, differentiating it from traditional designs.

Constructed by NV Scheepswerven van Langerbrugge, the yacht's steel hull and superstructure were built to endure the demands of extensive worldwide cruising, supporting its designation as a true Explorer. The dimensions include a beam of 9.60 meters (31'6") and a draft of 3.25 meters (10'8"), providing stability and ample space for onboard activities and storage.

The aft deck, following the removal of unnecessary equipment, now offers versatility for a range of activities. It can accommodate storage for a submarine, ROVs with their Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS), air diving equipment, and more. This space complements the adventurous spirit of Te Streep, facilitating exploration and recreational pursuits. The yacht also houses various tenders and toys, including two original survey launches, a large RIB with 300hp, two Jet skis, a smaller RIB with 50hp, a giant water slide, and an aft boarding platform measuring 8m x 4m.

Te Streep, fitted for expeditions, features a unique coral-artwork exterior, accommodates 12 guests, and supports adventurous activities.

Accommodation

Te Streep is designed to accommodate a total of 12 guests, ensuring a comfortable and private experience on board. The guest accommodations are thoughtfully arranged across the yacht's decks, with a total of six staterooms available for guests. Each stateroom is equipped with modern amenities, including air-conditioning and new furniture, to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment. The recent upgrades have also introduced ensuite bathrooms to each guest cabin, enhancing privacy and convenience for all aboard.

The owner's suite, located on the boat deck, is a prominent feature of Te Streep's accommodation offerings. This stateroom is positioned forward for optimum views and privacy. As with all guest accommodations on Te Streep, the owner's suite benefits from the recent interior modernization, which includes air-conditioning and new furniture, ensuring a pleasant environment regardless of the climate outside.

The crew quarters are situated on the lower deck, designed to house a crew of 10. This area includes crew cabins and a crew mess, ensuring that the team responsible for operating Te Streep has their dedicated space. The recent addition of more bathrooms for the crew, who previously had no facilities on the lower deck, as well as the installation of various TVs and the addition of a laundry, have significantly improved the living conditions for the crew, aligning with the overall modernization of the vessel.
