Brythonic Yachts has introduced an updated iteration of its 89-meter explorer yacht concept, Project LONTANO.
Originally launched in 2021 as a conversion initiative utilizing an X-Bow supply ship hull, the project has now evolved into a full-custom yacht build, slated for delivery within 36 months of commissioning. The design has also been extended from its original 78 meters.
This ambitious endeavor will be jointly managed by Brythonic Yachts and Kobus Naval Design. The new yacht will be constructed using Lloyds Grade A steel, boasting a striking exterior with bold lines, extensive aft deck glazing, and an axe bow.
Designed as a new explorer yacht, Lontano promises a host of luxurious amenities, including a beach club, gym, swimming pool, spa, and helipad. Additionally, a fold-out balcony offers an exclusive vantage point, providing guests with sweeping views even while the yacht is underway.
The outdoor spaces are crafted for ultimate relaxation, featuring generous lounging areas spread across multiple decks, along with expansive sun pads on the sun deck. The inclusion of floor-to-ceiling windows enhances the yacht's modern aesthetic, facilitating seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor environments.
Accommodations include a lavish owner's suite, 10 guest cabins, 13 crew cabins, and a separate captain's cabin. Additionally, Brythonic Yachts emphasizes customization, allowing clients to collaborate closely with their design and naval architecture teams to tailor the yacht according to personal preferences.
Lontano will be equipped with twin 4,500hp multi-fuel marine turbines, achieving a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
