Trust Fun is a 39.62m motor yacht delivered by American shipyard Westport Yachts in 2008. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Gregory Marshall, while her interiors are the work of Karen Lynn Interiors.

Key Features

  • Master stateroom on main deck
  • Spacious aft deck for alfresco dining
  • Large windows in master for visibility
  • Sky lounge with fireplace and bar

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.92m beam and a 2.01m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 321 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the twenty-sixth yacht built on the Westport 130 design.

Exterior Design

Trust Fun's exterior design features a raked bow, which enhances its hydrodynamic efficiency and sleek profile. The deck is constructed with durable teak, offering both functionality and a classic maritime appearance. The hull and superstructure are painted in a clean, white color, providing a unified and polished look. The boot top and areas below the waterline are finished in black, creating a sharp contrast with the white hull and superstructure.

The aft deck is notably large for its class, accommodating a round table suitable for casual alfresco dining, an aft settee, occasional chairs, and a service bar. This space is designed to handle a large party without feeling crowded. Additionally, a Barrett 2-sided aft deck enclosure provides protection from the elements.

The sundeck is equipped with a well-placed bar, allowing guests to easily enjoy cocktails in the sun. Additionally, the inclusion of a Jacuzzi offers a relaxing space for guests to unwind.

Interior Design

The interior design of Trust Fun is characterized by functionality and understated elegance. The main salon features a large L-shaped sofa to port, complemented by two occasional chairs and a leather lounge chair with an ottoman. The salon's large windows provide panoramic views, creating a light and airy atmosphere. Adjacent to the salon is the formal dining area, which accommodates ten guests. The dining table is custom-built from matching Mahogany with glass inlays, and the dining ware is stored in custom cabinets located on either side of the table.

The galley is well-equipped to meet all culinary needs. It includes double ovens, double stainless steel sinks, and a full-size double door refrigerator. A large window above the sink area ensures ample natural light and offers pleasant views. A custom stewardess pantry with a granite countertop and a bar stool at the port window adds to the practicality of the space.

The helm and bridge deck are designed with both style and functionality in mind. The upper aft deck features a large L-shaped settee and table to port, along with a built-in TV and an overhead awning supported by custom carbon fiber poles. This awning can be adjusted for various uses, providing flexibility for different weather conditions.

Leading forward from the upper aft deck, the sky lounge is accessible through double stainless steel glass doors. This area includes large windows for excellent visibility, an office, a day head, a walk-up service bar, and a fireplace. Seating arrangements consist of an L-shaped sofa and two occasional chairs, along with a matching ottoman.

Accommodation

Trust Fun accommodates guests in five well-appointed staterooms, designed for comfort and privacy. The master stateroom is situated on the main deck. It features large windows that provide excellent visibility. The master head is located forward and offers his and hers access, a large triple shower, and a custom vanity positioned forward of the shower.

Four additional staterooms are located on the lower level, accessible via a separate staircase leading to a foyer. Two VIP staterooms feature California king-size berths and ensuite heads, providing spacious and private accommodations. The other two guest staterooms are mirror images of each other, each equipped with twin berths that can be converted into a queen berth. The port stateroom includes an additional Pullman berth. Each of these staterooms also has an ensuite head.

For crew accommodation, quarters are located forward, accessible from the galley via steps. The captain’s stateroom, positioned to port, features a double-sized berth and an ensuite head. To starboard, there is a large crew dinette. Two additional crew cabins feature upper and lower berths and ensuite heads. An engineer’s cabin, located aft, includes a double berth and ensuite head.

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 2,735hp engines, motor yacht Trust Fun is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots.
