Arcadia launches fifth hull of flagship A115 yacht

The 35m (115ft) yacht looks to deliver a luxury experience, with a strong focus on sustainability, for its experienced Owner.

Arcadia Yachts has launched the fifth hull of its flagship A115 line with the aim of giving its Owner a “7-star hotel” experience.

The 35m (115ft) motor yacht is being built for an Owner with “considerable experience in the nautical world”. It is intended purely for private use, but has been built with the opportunity to convert it for charter use in the future.

The 266GT yacht features a number of modifications and customizations requested by the Owner, for instance a three guest cabin layout on the lower deck, instead of the standard four, and a large Owner’s quarters forward on the main deck with direct access to the outside bow area.

There is also a strong focus on sustainability and the environment. Solar panels cover a 40 square meter surface and generate 4.5kW removing, or at least reducing the need for generators when at anchor. Inside thermally insulated windows help keep the yacht at a comfortable temperature and the yard claims the semi-displacement hull is 10% more efficient than other yachts in the same category.

Other highlights include a 140 square meter (1,506 sq. ft) upper deck, a main deck dining area with opening terraces for extra space, full-height glass windows that can be raised and lowered in the same way car windows can be.

The yard revealed that the aim from the beginning was “to give guests the same experience they can enjoy in a 7-star hotel, in which style, furniture elements and technical facilities are combined in a completely original manner.”

The A115 is Arcadia’s flagship model and its convivial design and abundance of glass are typical of its fleet of yachts which are marked by unique styling, impressive use of space and cool, modernist design.

According to YachtBuyer intelligence the yard currently has nine models in construction and due for delivery over the next 24 months, including a sixth hull of the A115. To find out more you can view all Arcadia yachts for sale.
