Baran Akalin and Anwigema unveil trimonoran yacht concept Escalade 25

Yacht designer Baran Akalin has unveiled a new yacht design with a trimonoran hull, called the Escalade 25.

Developed by Dutch firm Anwigema, the Escalade 25 is to be powered by a hydraulic propulsion system which gives the flybridge model a promoted top speed of 42 knots.

Offering an alternative to the yachting market, the new innovative design from Baran Akalin offers a best of both concept, which pulls together the appealing qualities from a trimaran and a more traditional monohull.

The subsequent trimonoran concept promotes a high level of stability for great performance, plus less water resistance from what is usually experienced from monohull flybridge yachts for sale.

In addition to the promise of a comfortable sailing experience onboard the new trimonoran concept, the design team also state the specially designed hull can increase fuel efficiency and increase speed up to 30%.

Exteriors around the Escalde 25 are spacious and offer a selection of relaxation spaces for guests onboard. Sunlounging facilities are located at the bow and on both sides surrounding the main deck interiors.

A staircase on the main deck aft leads up to the flybridge, passing underneath an elaborate glass bottomed Jacuzzi. Plenty more seating awaits guests on the flybridge, making it an ideal area for taking in the views during cruising expeditions.

With accommodation advertised to accommodate eight guests in a four-cabin layout, the interiors have been penned by British designer Celia Sawyer.

Initial renderings indicate a vast open space throughout the main salon, with ample seating in the lounge area, plus a convenient galley at close hand. An elevated dining area and giant cinema style screen provide further entertaining space for owners and their guests.

Although further details are yet to be announced regarding the Escalade 25, there are still plenty of options available to become an owner of a high performance yacht. Start looking for your ideal yacht by viewing all of the available yachts for sale.
