New shots from Italian shipyard Benetti show the never-before-seen interior of 44m (145’) INK, the first Diamond 145 hull.
The photos are the first time the public has glimpsed inside the superyacht, which was launched in January before being delivered to her Owner in July.
They reveal that, unlike on other Diamond 145 models, the dining area on INK has been moved to the upper deck, making room for a gigantic main salon with four sofas.
The upper deck gets a combined sunpad and dip pool, as well, with plenty of seating for relaxing and sunbathing.
The pictures also show the superyacht’s cabins, with the Owner’s on the main deck forward while the other four reside below deck. Each has an en-suite and wardrobe, and is upholstered in pearlescent whites.
Above, the sun deck gets its own wet bar and plenty of communal space, as well.
Main deck with a spacious main salon
At her stern, INK gets an intimate beach club and swimming platform. Together they act as their own mini-holiday destination, with plenty of stowage space, interior seating and shaded spots, just inches from the waterline.
Forward, guests will find a wide, white sofa for relaxing in the cool, before walking through sliding doors that, when fully opened, make both the main deck aft and the interior feel as open and welcoming as possible.
With the dining table moved to the upper deck, the main salon is a very spacious place, with four sizable sofas positioned around smaller coffee tables. The sides have ceiling-high windows that offer long, stunning views of the surrounding ocean.
Amidships is the galley, with a staircase that leads directly to the dining area on the upper deck.
Luxurious Owner’s suite and roomy guest cabins
At the bow of the main deck, the Owner gets an office adjoining their cabin. The cabin comes with a large, widescreen TV at the foot of the double bed, not to mention plenty of room and big windows on either side. It has its own en-suite and wardrobe, as do the four guest cabins below deck.
The guest cabins (two double and two twin) are all situated amidships, letting them use up the entirety of the 9m (30’) beam that the Diamond 145 has. They too get creamy and pearl-white upholstery, and windows just above the waterline.
All in all, INK has berths for ten guests.
Upper deck dining and choices in how to relax
While other hulls in the flagship superyacht offer an interior dining area on the main deck and an exterior one on the upper deck aft, INK has both of them on the upper deck. Outside is a circular dining table with ten seats, near to a communal area that provides gorgeous views over the stern.
Forward, past the two opposing sofas and stowage space on the port and starboard sides, is the interior table, standing in the shadow of a large, widescreen TV.
Should guests continue forward past the wheelhouse, they’ll come out onto the foredeck, where the Diamond 145 has an innovative combined sunpad and dip pool.
Sun deck: panoramic views and a wet bar
Aft, the sun deck of this superyacht gets an open communal area with comfy seating and an amazing all-round view. Forward, under the hard top, there’s a wet bar and yet another dining table, again capable of seating the maximum ten guests. There’s also a sunpad with its own smaller forward table.
Performance and remarkable range
INK has an impressive 3,800-nautical-mile range. She’s powered by a pair of 1,400hp engines, giving her a total output of 2,800hp, and her top speed is 15 knots.
INK is currently owned, with the second hull of this model due to be delivered. There is a third Diamond 145 available to buy.
