Following the successful showcase of the CL Yachts CLX96 at the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, designer Jozeph Forakis was keen to show off his most imaginative concept yet.
A design that has been created to be "virtually invisible", the 88m (288.71ft) superyacht is to be a pure example of machines co-existing with nature rather than competing with it.
Full to the brim of eco-friendly solutions, the plans state that PEGASUS would be completely powered by solar energy that converts seawater into hydrogen.
Combined with lithium batteries and zero emissions, this is a superyacht that would set the benchmark for ecological sustainability.

Flanked with reflective multi-tiered "Solar Wings" along the superstructure, PEGASUS will become what seems like floating clouds on the water as the highly reflective mirrors showcase their magnificent surroundings.
Striving to create a superyacht that seamlessly blends with the environment, Forakis blends exterior and interior environments onboard, with a multi-level "Tree of Life" monument that features a zen garden, reflective pool and a hydroponic garden.

A bold but achievable vision for the near future, where man and machine live in harmony with nature rather than competing or compromising.

Making the most of nature while onboard is an easy feat with numerous fold-down balconies, a private terrace on the owner's deck and a spacious beach club.
The outdoor pool has a multifunctional cover that doubles as a touch-and-go helipad, plus a large Jacuzzi in the beach club sets the scene for guests wanting to enjoy the water but remain in the indulgent surroundings of the superyacht.
Although PEGASUS remains to be a superyacht on the drawing board, there are still plenty of opportunities for you to design and create your own custom yacht. Read our guide on how to build a custom yacht to start putting ideas together.
