Originally sold in 2019 after the Palm Beach Boat Show, the first Mangusta GranSport 33 has been delivered to her American Owner and is making a debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2020 (FLIBS), proving the Italian yard is enjoying further success with the US market.
The superyacht was penned inside and out by Italian designer Alberto Mancini and first launched in July.
The 33 is the entry-level model in the Mangusta GranSport range, designed to bring the Mediterranean alfresco lifestyle to the U.S. market, as demonstrated by the first hull attracting an American Owner. With up to two pools outside, it brings larger yacht luxuries into a more compact and sporty-looking package.
The yacht has provisions inside for up to twelve guests in its five cabins. The Owner’s is forward on the main deck, taking up a generous 40 sq. m (430.5 sq. ft), with two en-suites. The other four en-suite rooms (two double and two twin) are all below deck. In the bow are another three cabins that can accommodate a crew of up to five people.
Those interested in buying a yacht can choose between an open flybridge, or one with windows and a hard-top canopy. The Owner of this first hull, christened ‘Perfect Lady’, has opted to make the 56 sq. m (603 sq. ft) space fully enclosed, transforming it into an intimate skylounge with an indoor TV room.
Aft, guests will find a bar and sun loungers, which can be converted into a jacuzzi and seating area. Meanwhile, the foredeck has got large, luxurious sunpads combined with a pool that has a hydromassage function – ideal for diverse and comfortable socialising.
Below is a large cockpit with a dining area. A pair of large sliding doors forward lead to the main salon, which gets another dining table and is directly adjacent to the galley. A large sofa is inside for some more sheltered get-togethers, with cabinets and a widescreen TV to starboard.
The tender garage can store boats up to 5.5m (18ft) in length, while having room to spare for two jet skis.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 has an impressively low draft of just 2m (6.5ft), letting it cruise in shallow waters, perfect for gorgeous locales like the Bahamas. It also backs up its athletic styling with a 26-knot top speed, thanks to it being the first GranSport to have four Volvo Penta IPS engines.
This flybridge yacht should be a very strong stand-out for anybody after an adaptable, roomy and nimble boat of their own. If that sounds like you, you should browse Mangusta GranSport 33 yachts for sale.
