First Outer Reef 780 Adventure Yacht in Final Build Phase

The first Outer Reef 780 Adventure is nearing completion at the builder’s Dutch shipyard, marking a key milestone for Outer Reef Yachts as it moves into the steel explorer yacht segment.

Scheduled for delivery later in 2025, this 24m Outer Reef 780 Adventure is a collaborative design effort, with Bernd Weel handling the exterior, Julian Moore the interiors, and naval architecture provided by Lynx Yachts.

The 780 Adventure is a product of Outer Reef Yachts' strategic merger with Lynx Yachts and is the company’s first steel-built model. Originally conceived as the Adventure 24, the project was renamed in 2024 to align with Outer Reef’s long-range cruising identity. The result is a yacht tailored for experienced owners who prioritise global voyaging, durability, and onboard comfort.

Built in the Netherlands, a country known for precision craftsmanship, the motor yacht features a rugged steel hull, generous volume, and advanced stabilisers designed for handling a wide range of sea conditions. Whether exploring the Mediterranean, Arctic, or remote Pacific anchorages, this yacht is engineered for capable performance in demanding environments.

Accommodation is available in either a three- or four-stateroom layout, with options including a full-beam master suite or dual VIP cabins. Crew accommodations are also adaptable, with space for up to four crew members depending on operational preferences. Interiors are customisable, allowing owners to tailor the onboard experience to their own style and needs.

Outdoor living is a major focus. The yacht features a sun deck with a bar, multiple seating areas, and space for alfresco dining. A protected aft cockpit offers another area for socialising, while the deep swim platform provides easy access to the water. The 780 Adventure is also designed to carry a six-metre tender and up to two Jet Skis on the foredeck.

Fuel efficiency and long-range capability are key selling points. Twin 425-horsepower Cummins engines enable a transoceanic range of 3,000 nautical miles at 7 knots, while still delivering a cruising speed of around 11 knots and a maximum speed of up to 18.5 knots, depending on engine configuration. Fuel consumption at cruising speed is projected at 30 gph, dropping to 9 gph at more economical speeds.

Noise-reducing construction methods, a fast-displacement hull, and advanced docking systems further support the yacht’s goal of providing comfortable long-distance cruising. Maneuverability and simplified operation make her suitable for owner-operators or smaller professional crews.

Meanwhile, the 860 Deluxbridge Skylounge Motoryacht (26.3m) caters to buyers prioritising indoor comfort, with a climate-controlled skylounge ideal for entertaining or relaxed cruising in any season.

With build completion now in sight, the Outer Reef 780 Adventure positions itself as a capable and refined entry-level superyacht
