Heesen has announced that the second yacht in its 50m (164ft) steel displacement class, motor yacht ARKADIA, has been delivered to her American Owner.
Formerly known as Project Triton, the full displacement motor yacht features a classic motor car-inspired exterior from Clifford Denn and a luxurious interior design by Reymond Langton.
The Dutch builder has stressed the innovative layout of motor yacht ARKADIA that ensures the superyacht makes the best use of its sub 500GT volume. She features a spacious open plan main deck with a large lounge and adjacent dining area. Extensive glazing combined with the soothing brown and calm white interiors enhance the feeling of space onboard.
Other highlights onboard motor yacht ARKADIA include a large beach club with an adjacent spa and wellness area, a plush skylounge, three alfresco dining areas and a sun deck Jacuzzi. She can accommodate up to ten guests in a five-cabin layout, the highlight of which is a full-beam master cabin on the main deck. She also features three doubles and a twin on the lower deck.
Powered by Twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 engines, motor yacht ARKADIA has a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 3,800 nautical miles while cruising at 12 knots.
Motor yacht ARKADIA is the first of five yachts scheduled for delivery this year from the Dutch shipyard. The largest is 60m (196.85ft) Project Falcon, which is also Heesen’s largest-ever steel displacement yacht.
The majority of Heesen builds are semi-custom projects based on pre-defined hull shapes that have a good degree of customization available above the water and offer a much shorter than normal delivery time.
