Delivered to her new owners following extensive sea trials in the North Sea in May 2020, AMARE II has become the second Heesen hybrid to hit the waters, joining her sister 5000 Aluminium yacht HOME.
Working alongside the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Heesen accomplished an admirable delivery time for the Heesen 5000 FDHF with just a short delay.
Exceeding her expectations during the intensive sea trials, AMARE II raised her top speed by 0.9 knots giving her an actual top speed of 17.2 knots while travelling in diesel mode, or 10.2 knots in her silent mode.
Ready to take her maiden voyage around the Mediterranean for the summer 2020 season, the striking trideck has collaborative exteriors from Omega Architects on the lines and Van Oossanen for the naval architecture.
Comfortably sat within the sub-500 GT category, the new Heesen superyacht is lightweight due to her aluminium fast displacement hull form and has a premium level of fuel efficiency in comparison with other superyachts for sale.
Given these positive attributes, it comes as no surprise that the Heesen 5000 FDHF for sale is indeed a multi-award winner. Her most recent prestigious award being for Best Innovation (38-50m) at the 2019 World Yacht Trophies.
Interiors for AMARE II were designed by Preganziol based designer Cristiano Gatto, and styling was entrusted to Sabrina Monte-Carlo who was specially curated by the new owners.
Advertising a pastel coloured scheme, decor throughout the new superyacht features collaborations from known Italian designers including B&B Italia, Paola Lenti, Giorgetti, Porta Romana.
Boasting a six-cabin layout, the 50m aluminium superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests plus a crew of nine in a five-cabin layout.
If you're in the market to buy a Heesen superyacht, the 5000 FDHF is an ideal option if you're looking for an economic superyacht with an abundance of space.
