ISA reveals more details of speedy first Super Sportivo 100

The 30m superyacht ALDABRA is the first of its ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO line and reached 55 knots on sea trials. It is set to premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival later this year.

ISA superyachts has revealed more details of its first ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO, which it claims will be one of the fastest boats in its class.

The 30m (100ft) superyacht ALDABRA, reached a top speed of 55 knots on her first sea trials, with triple 2,000 hp MAN engines, hydrojet propulsion, and super lightweight construction behind the impressive speed stats.

ALDABRA is built with a carbon fiber-infused hull and a lightweight carbon superstructure. Great attention to detail in the interiors had led to further weight savings and speed gains, deck flooring for instance is in PE/EVA, a marine-grade foam with is soft touch, easy to maintain, stays cool under sunlight and provides a high level of soundproofing.

Elsewhere a high deep-V-shaped bow is accompanied by a profile that drops down to the stern and large air intakes are positioned above the hardtop.

Sizeable open surfaces forward and astern give ALDABRA a distinctive look, whilst large, opening glass panels allow her cockpit to be opened up to the elements.

ALDABRA features five double cabins, including a full-beam Owner’s cabin amidship, although the model is available in three to five cabin configurations.

The motor yacht is a collaboration between Marco Casali (Too Design), who was responsible for her interior and exterior design, and Palumbo Superyachts who took charge of naval architecture. It is part of ISA’s Super Sportivo line that also includes the Super Sportivo 121 and Super Sportivo 141, both of which carry the same sleek and sporty DNA.

ALDABRA is set to premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2021.
