Italian shipyard Monte Carlo Yachts has unveiled the MCY 76 Skylounge – the largest model in its Skylounge range – at FLIBS 2020.
The debut comes after its sister ship, the MCY 70 Skylounge, was presented for the first time at the 2020 Miami Yacht Show in February. Like its smaller sibling, the exterior of the MCY 76 Skylounge was penned by Italian studio Nuvolari & Lenard. The flybridge yacht can accommodate eight guests in its four ensuite cabins below deck. The owner’s suite takes up the full 6m (19ft) beam amidships.
Among the most notable features for those looking to buy a new yacht is the enclosed carbon fiber flybridge, which houses the helm station and, aft, a seating area with comfy settees, ideal for socializing with friends and family. Should the Owner choose, this space can be transformed into a private studio with an impressive 360-degree ocean view.
Outside, the yacht is adaptable, with a plethora of areas for different types of sociable relaxation. While the foredeck is home to a circular dining area with huge sofas and two tables, the cockpit offers a more concealed alfresco dining experience, directly aft of the main salon. The flybridge aft has additional seating and a gorgeous view over the stern.
Owners buying this flybridge yacht can customize the main salon, as well. The galley can be moved to either forward of the open space or to the port side, at the Owner’s discretion. There are plenty of sofas, a dining space, and lots of available stowage, while maple wood surfaces and large side windows create a soothing area full of natural light.
