Moonen Yachts has announced the successful completion of sea trials with 36.3m (119ft) motor yacht MOONSHINE, marking the sixth motor yacht launch from the builder's semi-custom Martinique series.
John Bechtold, the project manager at Moonen Yachts, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the motor yacht in the North Sea. He noted the team's pride in seeing MOONSHINE cruising through the sea trials, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining Moonen’s reputation for delivering high-quality yachts for sale.
The endurance trial was the final phase, following the class survey and certification, calibration, and maneuvering tests. These trials also provided the crew with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the sixth Martinique 112 motor yacht alongside the technical team.
During the sea trials, hundreds of components are being used simultaneously for the first time, so as builders it’s rewarding to see the yacht performing so well. It’s a wonderful testament to the Martinique’s proven design pedigree and build quality.”
