New Italian design studio LDWO has unveiled its newest concept, 49m (160.7ft) ETERE, whose harmonious appearance and sinuous curves are inspired by nature.
Meaning ‘ether’ in Italian, ETERE is designed to resemble “an ethereal sculpture, modelled by pure celestial wind and air” according to the studio.
Spread across five decks, ample space is dedicated to entertaining, relaxing and dining, and prospective owners will have a choice of two configurations.
The traditional aft design features a lounge area on the main deck and an interior beach club accessed through the stern hatch. The second option is an open beach club, with a larger open-planned lounge space and an infinity pool and bar.
She also features a tender garage capable of holding a Castoldi 21 tender and rescue boat, as well as three jet skis and Seabobs.
Front and center of the concept are floor-to-ceiling glass windows wrapped around her main saloon to give panoramic views, whilst the theme of glass is continued into the cabins. Able to accommodate ten guests across five staterooms, the large master suite comes complete with a private terrace, which is accessed via sliding glass doors.
Power comes from twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, giving a top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 17.5 knots. She will have a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
LDWO Design Studio is headed by Jacopo Leoni, whose passion for yacht design was reinvigorated after a number of years working in shipyard. Earlier this year the studio released its ‘My Elisa’ concept inspired by the work of German composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
