With a slate-grey hull offset by black glazing, the new addition to the Sportfly range is as sleek on the interior as she is on the exterior.
Featuring both interior and exterior styling from Officina Italiana Design, the first 88’ Folgore was launched and christened LIGHTNING in May.
The motor yacht forms the first unit of what Riva has described as ‘the new-generation Riva tradition’.
Key features include an innovative foredeck lounging arrangement, a glass-top roof and a sharp and predatory profile that’s achieved through clean lines and a sporty silhouette.
The first images show that the yacht is equally opulent on the interior, with plenty of geometric shapes, illuminated spaces and an excess of materials including marble, crystal and stainless steel.

The photos reveal a spacious salon that combines a dining area and lounge. Opposite the lengthy couch to starboard is a cabinet that discreetly houses a 55” TV screen. Forward, the dining arrangement can seat all eight of the guests that the 88’ Folgore accommodates onboard.
Wide windows around the main salon flood the space with light, creating a sun-soaked interior that promotes a continuous connection to the outside world. Aft, the sliding glass door leads to the exterior deck, which offers a spacious seating area where those on board can stretch out and catch some sun.
Forward of the main salon is the cockpit, which features a glass partition and a crew entrance to starboard. This design is present on a number of other Riva yachts, and has been engineered to ensure that crew operations are discreet and the intimate yet comfortable ambience of the main salon is never compromised.
Forward, a set of stairs lead below deck, where the motor yacht has four cabins. Amidships is the 20 sq. m (215 sq. ft) Owner’s suite, which stretches across the full beam and features mirrored surfaces that enhance the sense of space and light.
Onboard this superyacht, the Master cabin has an accompanying walk-in closet and en-suite. Should they choose, those who want to buy a new 88’ Folgore can add a second en-suite or another walk-in closet, proving the versatility of this Riva yacht for sale.
Further accommodation is offered in two VIP cabins, each with a double bed and en-suite, or in the starboard side’s twin cabin, found aft of its accompanying head. Every cabin has its own widescreen TV and wardrobe.

Beneath the main deck aft, the 88’ Folgore has a combined tender garage and 6 sq. m (64.5 sq. ft) beach club. The yacht’s smart design comes into focus here, as the beach club’s rear door has the function to be lowered to the waterline to create an extended, six square metre beach club that can also be submerged for straightforward tender operations.
In terms of alfresco living, this Sportfly model has a 20 sq. m (215 sq. ft) flybridge covered in sofas and sunpads. There’s a foredeck with a dining area and another sofa, which can be converted into a sunpad spread thanks to an up-down mechanism. The area’s complete with an ice-maker and mobile bar.
