Work on the 62Steel model from the flagship Sanlorenzo Steel range began back in 2018. Once completed, the superyacht will be powered by twin CAT 3512 C diesel engines and is predicted to reach a top speed of 16.5 knots.
Bearing a resemblance to the previously launched 64Steel ATTILA, the new 62Steel features design by the in-house Sanlorenzo team and Mauro Micheli.
The exterior design is elegant and streamlined, although it is missing the extended sun deck as seen on the 64Steel. There is, however, an advertised fully certified touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck.
Health and wellness are a primary focal point on board the 62Steel Sanlorenzo yacht. There's a spacious beach club, complete with a gym and fold-out terraces over the ocean.
In addition to the helipad and side terraces, guests can also make use of an integrated bar area.
Further water-based activities can be indulged on board with a glass-bottomed pool on the main deck, plus a spa pool on the sun deck.
A real stand out feature is an impressive looking master apartment. Covering an extensive 97 square metres of the interior, the space includes a his-and-hers bathroom and a separate dressing room.
The voluminous apartment also looks out over the entrance to a private 123-square-metre exterior terrace, complete with lounge area and pool.
Guest accommodation on board can be either a five or six-cabin configuration, with a capacity of up to 12 guests plus 14 crew at any one time.
