Sunseeker announce tri-deck superyacht Ocean 460

Sunseeker continues to tinker with and change its fleet, with a new Gross Tonnage basis for model names including this brand new tri-deck featuring design inspiration from the Sunseeker 131 Yacht.

Reporting a preliminary maximum speed of 21 knots, the 42m (137ft) 460GT superyacht promises a host of innovative solutions that not only stay true to the brand, but also showcase possibilities for the future.

Declaring "25% more interior volume than her sister ship the 131 Yacht", Sunseeker has created a sleek but sporty aesthetic that boldly attracts attention with her masculinity and cutting-edge lines.

Even before getting into the proposed specifications of the new Ocean yacht, a clear and unique difference from the rest of Sunseeker fleet is the name.

Instead of the usual reference to the LOA, the Sunseeker Ocean 460 instead refers to the Gross Tonnage of the yacht, something that will be used on other new models due for launch.

Available with MAN 12V engines or as a hybrid package, a potential range of 3,200nm has been partnered with a focus on increased comfort and quality of life on board, due to the changing demand for Owners spending more time onboard throughout their voyages.

Behind the aggressive lines, first impressions are defined by a versatile 'Sky Lounge deck' and an eyebrow raising two-level beach club.
