The latest addition to Sunseeker’s iconic range of Predator sports yachts, the 20.5m (67ft) Predator 65, is set to make its global debut at this month’s Palm Beach International Boat Show the yard has revealed.
The recognizable exterior of the Predator 65, a striking blend of tinted glazing, teak, carbon fiber and polished stainless steel, had its online premiere last month but this is the first time members of the public will be able to see it in the flesh. Joining it at the show will be the Predator 55 EVO, 65 Sport Yacht and the Manhattan 68.
In keeping with the adrenaline-fuelled attitude and pioneering styling that Sunseeker’s Predator range has become known for, the Predator 65 is fitted with Volvo Penta IPS-1200 or IPS-1350 engines and features spacious living spaces encased in glass.
This is most evident in a cockpit that merges seamlessly with an open plan living space, thanks to sliding doors and a dropping window, for a vast social area primed for relaxation. Below deck, the yacht can have a three or four-cabin layout with a full-beam Owner’s cabin and a spacious forward VIP.
On deck, there are two distinct entertaining areas; a bow seating area complete with a large sunpad, and a broad cockpit with comfortable dining seating. An extra-wide tender garage allows a Williams 345 Jet Tender to be carried and launched via a new diagonal sliding hydraulic bathing platform.
Andrea Frabetti, CEO at Sunseeker International, is looking forward to unveiling the Predator 65 in public: “We are delighted to present our superb motor yachts at the Palm Beach International Boat Show this month” he said. “The spectacular Predator 65 will be making its global debut and we are excited to showcase its design, innovation and craftmanship. The driving experience is peerless whilst providing spacious living quarters for owners to enjoy extended time on the open water. Today, we have one of the most modern and innovative ranges we have ever had, and we can’t wait for our clients to experience a taste of this with the exceptional models on display.”
Sunseeker’s Predator range was launched back in 1994 and has become hugely popular thanks to its eye-catching aggressive styling and blend of performance, handling, design and quality. The Predator 65 is part of a £38million investment by the British yard announced at the end of 2020, which will see the brand double its range to 22 models.
The Palm Beach International Boat Show runs from 24 March to 27 March, with the show regularly showcasing over $1billion worth of new and used yachts. If you are considering going to the show and want to get ahead of the crowd, read our guide to the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2022.
