Netherlands-based Oceanco has revealed details of Project VOLARE at Monaco Yacht Show 2024, an 87/88m full-custom concept yacht built on the Simply Custom platform which aims to streamline the process of building custom yachts.
The platform includes collaborations with top-tier design studios, and for its latest project, Oceanco has once again collaborated with Luiz de Basto of De Basto Designs — known for designing the 90m (295ft) Oceanco superyacht DAR.
Inspired by flight, motor yacht Project VOLARE — meaning “to fly” in Italian — features a highly modular design that can be extended from 87m to 88m or have a deck removed if desired. The new superyacht’s exterior silhouette combines dark and light glass with wind protection for those onboard and appears to be available in either a white or blue-colored profile.
Volare’s modern design is deeply rooted in our understanding of the evolving desires of today’s yacht owners. For these clients, impeccable quality and technical excellence is a baseline. Beyond this, they are excited by exclusive designs that evoke emotion and artistry, departing from the generic aesthetics of the past."

The most notable feature onboard yacht Project VOLARE, however, is the top deck that features a circular seating area around a firepit, providing a memorable social space with views over the sea. Another highlight is the aft pool, complete with a unique waterfall feature.
