Third Amels 60 embarks on sea trials

The third Amels 60 hull, which has been collaborated on with Winch Design, has begun her sea trials on the North Sea ahead of her final outfitting stages.

Currently listed for sale on the market, the latest Amels 60 is set to follow in the footsteps of sistership Come Together, which won an award at the 2023 BOAT International World Superyacht Awards.

Scheduled to be completed in August 2023, the third Amels 60 is yet to be named but looks to continue the trends of previous hulls with a spacious five-cabin layout and abundant facilities for an indulgent voyage every time, including a generously sized beach club environment and a versatile touch and go helipad.

Kitted out with an advanced hybrid propulsion system, the superyacht makes a strong commitment to the ongoing effort to make yachting more eco-friendly, with higher fuel consumption efficiency and exhaust emissions being minimized.

Sporting one of the largest sun decks in the size range at 162sqm, the Amels 60 makes a lasting impression for maximizing onboard liveability. Featuring an on-deck Jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen with a teppanyaki grill, sheltered seating, and an alfresco cinema setup, there's plenty for guests to enjoy as they watch the sun go down over the Mediterranean.

Overnight accommodation boasts an indulgent main deck master, complete with a large 7sqm fold-down balcony, a full beam bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. Guests spending the night will have the choice of four spacious cabins on the lower deck, each with its own ensuite facility.
