WHITE CORAL: Mulder Design Unveils 115m Superyacht Concept

The latest concept showcases the studio's expertise in crafting yachts that combine style, functionality, and technical excellence.

Mulder Design, a Dutch studio renowned for yacht design, has once again demonstrated its expertise with the unveiling of the WHITE CORAL project. At 115m (377ft) WHITE CORAL is destined to join the ranks of the world's biggest yachts.

WHITE CORAL showcases a modern yet timeless aesthetic and features everything expected from a luxury superyacht of its size, including a spacious beach club, a forward helideck, and an innovative exterior and interior design.

Bas Mulder, the studio's owner, explains that the project began as a desire to create a larger yacht than their typical 60-meter range. After showcasing initial sketches at the Monaco Yacht Show, the design drew significant interest, prompting further development into detailed 3D renders.

“I always try to bring it back to balance, and once you have the flow of the hull and superstructure you can start adding more detail, such as smaller shapes or key motifs and style elements, sharp angles or rounded features – that way you can more easily adapt to any client’s individual taste while ensuring the overall design is at its core harmonious.”

WHITE CORAL's design is inspired by the organic gemstone of the same name, with the exterior design characterized by dramatic, long, and elegant lines. The yacht's profile features a forward-leaning stance and sleek, sculpted details, with a rising aft style line that creates an interplay of geometric shapes.

WHITE CORAL also showcases features like a large main deck pool above an expansive 18x8-meter beach club with opening hull doors and a bow with a fully certified helipad and under-deck helicopter hangar.

“...we also specialize in creating stunning exterior designs for larger superyachts, for which the naval architecture and engineering will be completed elsewhere but for which our holistic understanding of those elements ensures a project that is not only aesthetically stunning but also firmly rooted in reality. That is the Mulder way.”
