The 153'3" motor yacht Asya was delivered to her owners in 2015 by Dutch shipyard Heesen. She features exterior design by Omega Architects and interior styling by Bannenberg & Rowell.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 29' beam and a 8'4" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in December 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in February 2015.
Exterior Design
Asya's silhouette boasts a harmonious blend of contemporary innovation and classic continuity that is characteristic of Heesen's design ethos. This 47-meter full-displacement vessel, while part of a successful series, distinguishes itself with a custom layout and bespoke interior, tailored to the owner's unique vision.
The yacht's profile is graced with Heesen's signature "pelican" bow, which not only adds to her sleek, streamlined appearance but also contributes to her performance at sea. Asya's continuous, well-shaped glass windows serve both as a design statement and a functional element, allowing natural light to flood her luxurious interiors. The vertical wheelhouse windows are a thoughtful addition, offering shade and rain protection, and optimizing the interior volume.
A commitment to quality and performance is underscored by the fact that Asya was modified to comply with the latest LY3 rules and the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC).
Her main aft deck invites relaxation with its expansive lounging area, while the upper deck terrace is perfectly equipped for alfresco dining. Ascending to the sundeck, guests are treated to a panoramic spa pool, a fully equipped bar, and comfortable seating areas, all designed to maximize enjoyment of life at sea.
Interior Design
Asya's interior is a sanctuary of sophistication and serenity, drawing inspiration from the minimalist design philosophies of Dieter Rams, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Tadao Ando. This is further enhanced by the creative influence of Wright's principle that form and function should exist in a spiritual union, a concept that has been artfully woven into the very fabric of Asya's living spaces by the acclaimed design duo at Bannenberg & Rowell.
Upon entering Asya, one is greeted with a delicate color palette that moves from crisp whites to soft beige tones, accented by mid-gloss white lacquered surfaces and the warmth of bronze details. This careful choice of colors pays homage to the yacht's design philosophy, emphasizing textures and chromatic contrasts, while occasional bursts of intense, vivid color enliven the environment.
The interior of Asya is not just visually appealing but also tactile. The main staircase wall is adorned with white textured leather panels, inviting touch and evoking the feeling of an art gallery. The dining area and other bulkheads are crafted from hand-hewn wood, their simple geometric shapes contributing to the yacht's overall theme of understated elegance and refinement.
In the main saloon, the design breaks into three distinct yet subtly connected living areas. A library-like space transitions into a seating area, furnished with Maxalto Simplex sofas by B&B Italia, Aster X armchairs by Poltrona Frau, and padded chaises longues by Meridiani, culminating in an open-plan dining area. The dining table, a striking piece with a shiny Makassar ebony top, sets the stage for memorable gatherings.
The bridge-deck saloon offers a more casual setting, with a layout that strays from strict geometry to follow the curvature of the superstructure. This area features a games table, C-shaped sofas, and a circular rug, all designed to optimize the room's sense of spaciousness. When the family desires entertainment, this saloon transforms into a cinema, complete with a large television.
Accommodation
Asya provides sumptuous living quarters for up to twelve guests, ensuring that every individual aboard is enveloped in an ambience of exclusivity and privacy. The guest accommodations are laid out on the lower deck and comprise six beautifully appointed staterooms: the master suite, a VIP cabin, and four additional guest cabins. Each cabin echoes the yacht's overarching aesthetic of understated luxury, with a palate of neutral tones and high-quality materials creating an atmosphere of serene comfort.
The full-beam master suite is a sanctuary of tranquility, featuring a king-sized bed, a private study, and a lavish en-suite bathroom. This opulent space is designed for rest and relaxation, allowing the owner to retreat into a world of comfort and elegance. The attention to detail is evident in the bespoke joinery, custom furniture, and the exquisite use of materials such as Makassar ebony and silver-grey oak.
Adjacent to the master suite is the VIP cabin, equally luxurious and spacious, offering its occupants a grandeur that rivals the master itself. Each guest cabin, whether configured as a double or a twin, is a haven of comfort, with en-suite facilities that include the finest fixtures and finishes, ensuring that every guest's stay is as comfortable as it is memorable.
The guest areas are designed with the same attention to detail that defines the rest of Asya. The en-suite bathrooms are no exception, where guests will find a harmonious balance of striped marbles, lacquered surfaces, and the warmth of silver-grey oak and Makassar ebony. These spaces provide a spa-like environment that is both modern and timeless, perfectly aligning with the yacht's overall design ethos.
As for the crew, their quarters have been designed with comfort and functionality at the core for up to 10. Recognizing the importance of a well-rested and content crew, Asya’s crew accommodations are more spacious and comfortable than those found in previous yachts of the series. They are equipped with ample amenities to ensure that the crew can perform their duties to the highest standard, reflecting the yacht's commitment to excellence in every aspect.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 4000 M63) 1,341hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Asya is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 15,850 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Asya also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
