Delivered in 2007, Bliss is a 44.17m motor yacht for sale built by Dutch shipyard Heesen. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Omega Architects, while Heesen is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 458 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2005. Launched in August 2007 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in October 2007.

Exterior Design

Bliss, a Heesen-built yacht, boasts a sleek design with a dark hull contrasting sharply against a white superstructure. Its raked bow leads to a functional foredeck, followed by a raised guest area with sun pads and a sheltered seating section accessible from both sides. Cleverly integrated tender and life raft storage are tucked beneath the seating area, maximizing space efficiency.

The yacht's side profile is dynamically subtle, with lines curving gracefully from the stern to meet the superstructure at the bow. Vertical glazing within the bulwarks adds a modern touch, while the radar mast contributes to the yacht's dynamic appearance. Portholes along the hull allow ample light into the interior, while occasional open gunwales enhance the aesthetic contrast. A crisp white bootstrap along the waterline adds a finishing touch.

At the rounded stern, twin stairways descend to a spacious bathing platform, which is extended when the large transom door is lowered. Moving to the main deck aft, chic banquette seating in soft grey tones complements black freestanding furniture, including armchairs and tables. A convenient corner bar on the port side enhances the social atmosphere. A curved staircase leads to the upper deck aft, offering options for al fresco dining. Additionally, a clever arrangement provides two dining tables, accommodating groups with children who may prefer separate dining spaces within the same area. The sun deck aft offers more guest seating, with stylish black Oceansand club chairs with cream cushions, a high counter with bar stools, and an elevated section forward featuring sun pads surrounding a six-seater jacuzzi, all sheltered by a raked windscreen for added comfort.

Interior Design

The interiors of the yacht embody a cool and contemporary vibe, embracing a simplistic design influenced by Pop art. Cool greys are complemented by cream tones, with hints of dark grey and black in the furnishings set against a plain cream carpet. A touch of rich deep pink adds a pop of color to the banquette seating and sofas.

Upon entering the main salon through a circular vestibule, guests are greeted by a dining area featuring a circular table with seating for ten, adorned with large pieces of pop artwork inspired by Campbell's Tomato Soup.

The owner's suite features ribbed material bench seating in deep purple, stone grey, and monochrome designs, in an office area furnished with a marble-topped desk. The cabin boasts two dressing areas, a vanity area, and a spacious bathroom with twin elements. Each guest cabin features bathrooms designed with different colors of marble. Medium wood panels add depth to the cabins, enhanced by inset windows.

The yacht's impressive circular staircase is surrounded by cool stone square panels with metal grouting, creating a visually striking effect. The underneath of each tread is in black so the visual effect whilst climbing the stairs is impressive.

The sky lounge serves as the preferred guest relaxation area, offering elevated views and a stylish grey bar with a backlit top. Vintage 'speed' chromed metal bar stools by Denis Santachiara for Domodinamica add a touch of retro charm. A casual seating area in dark grey provides ample relaxation space, with walls featuring light grey panels with metal divides. The sky lounge also includes a day head and shower, along with a convertible queen-sized bed for additional guest needs. A large circular mirrored ceiling feature helps reflect the natural light flooding in through the semi-circular sliding doors, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere.

Accommodation

Bliss offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
