The 52.3m motor yacht Deniki was delivered to her owners in 2007 by Dutch shipyard Amels. She features exterior design by Tim Heywood Design and interior styling by Peter Heuvelmans Architectuur.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 3.15m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 628 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2004 with the keel laid under the project name 'Frieslander, Sealander, Zeelander'. This was the first yacht built on the Amels 171 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Deniki boasts a striking dark blue hull paired with an eggshell superstructure, characterized by elegant curvature. Smooth lines gracefully flow from the aft quarter deck to the rounded, raked bow, accentuated by side balconies on the upper deck forward of amidships, adding both functionality and visual appeal.
On the sun deck, a raised, side-curved feature with grill accents serves as a striking focal point before the distinctive radar and communication arch, complemented by raised manta wings on each side. The sundeck features an al fresco dining area under the radar arch for shade, while ample relaxed seating aft provides rear-facing panoramic views from its elevated position. Additionally, the sun deck features abundant sun pads surrounding an elevated circular jacuzzi tub.
Large glazing sections within the bulwarks and three sizable side panels on the main deck allow ample natural light to flood the interior, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. Open aft deck areas benefit from unobstructed overhead light, with large doors connecting exterior and interior spaces. Notably, the inward-leaning aft guardrails on all deck levels follow the lines of the superstructure, enhancing the yacht's clean and sleek aesthetic.
At the stern, twin sheltered stairways lead from the main deck aft to the bathing platform, gently flaring out as they meet the deck. The yacht's side profile reveals dynamic lines that ascend and flow towards the commanding bow, concealing functional deck spaces housing equipment such as a prominent light mast that can be lowered when not in use, and anchoring gear.
A crane on the port side of the aft upper deck facilitates the launching and recovery of tenders. Strategically positioned staircases on the port side of each level ensure convenient access throughout the yacht. A wide walkway encircling the upper deck guides guests to a secluded relaxation area forward, offering a tranquil retreat before descending to a spacious sun pad area.
Interior Design
The bridge deck lounge, known for its avant-garde and informal ambiance, retains some of its whimsical design elements post-2021 refurbishment, including the mother-of-pearl mosaic bar, colorful custom stools, and gold-leaf columns. The extensive use of diverse woods and grains, crafted by the German firm Metrica, showcases exceptional joinery throughout the yacht.
On the main deck, the welcoming lounge boasts warm mahogany paneling and parquet floors with intricate Doric inlays, accompanied by a shimmering gold ceiling panel for added elegance. Cream-colored sofas and blinds invite relaxation.
Similarly, the sky lounge radiates warmth with exquisite marquetry and burnished wood floors, enhanced by cream upholstery that complements the pops of blue in the bureau’s chairs.
The aft space is centered around a mother-of-pearl mosaic bar accompanied by vibrant custom stools. Adjacent to the bar, cocktail tables feature tops made of three interlocking panels resembling scallop shells. Complementing the theme, the cocktail chairs boast bright orange, overstuffed cushions adorned with crystal buttons, supported by silver-painted wood legs and arms. Vertical orientation is enhanced by gold-leaf columns, while original paintings and sculptures add artistic flair throughout the area.
Since the 2021 full refurbishment of the master suite, the previous 'ethnic chic' design, characterized by Empire-style trompe l’oeil drapery, chocolate brown crocodile skin accents, and zebra hide upholstery, has been replaced with a slightly calmer aesthetic.
Accommodation
Deniki provides comfortable accommodation for up to ten guests in five suites.
The guest cabins consist of a primary suite featuring a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, along with three cabins equipped with double beds and en-suite bathroom facilities. Additionally, there is a cabin furnished with twin beds and en-suite bathroom facilities.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M70) 1,407hp engines, motor yacht Deniki is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 115,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,182 nautical miles. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Deniki also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
