Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the second yacht built on the Heesen 5000 design. Launched in June 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Rocket's spacious sun deck is designed for entertainment and relaxation, equipped with a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads. This area also includes a wet bar and an alfresco dining space, providing ample options for leisure activities.

On the main deck, the exterior lounge to aft offers a comfortable space for guests to unwind, while the cushioned sun pads on the bow provide another area for relaxation. Rocket's capability to carry a seven-metre tender and an additional 10-metre chase boat makes her suitable for various excursions.

Interior Design

The interior design of Rocket, crafted by Cristiano Gatto Design and Domusnova, uses a blend of dark leathers and contrasting woods, complemented by bright and colourful accents throughout the space. The yacht also includes Lalique figurines, Pinetti accessories, and Hermès tableware.

The bridge deck features a circular lounge designed for relaxation and enjoyment, offering guests 270-degree views. This space is equipped with a large television screen and a half-moon sofa, making it suitable for movie nights.  The unique staircase on Rocket acts as a focal point, with its design inspired by the waves of the sea.

Accommodation

The yacht Rocket offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in a six-stateroom configuration. The main deck houses a full-beam master suite, providing a king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe, a study, and a seating area. This suite is complemented by a his-and-hers en suite bathroom. On the lower deck, guests will find additional accommodations, including a full-beam VIP suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins.

For the crew, Rocket can accommodate up to 10 members in six cabins, ensuring efficient service throughout the voyage.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V4000M90) 3,650hp engines, motor yacht Rocket is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 17 knots. With her 68,800 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,200 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
