Cantiere delle Marche has launched the 40m RJ 130, a steel and aluminium explorer yacht that is the first model from its RJ line.
Sold to a North European Owner, she is designed inside and out by Francesco Paszkowski, with naval architecture courtesy of Hydro Tec. The yacht can host up to 12 guests across five cabins.
One of the key features of the RJ 130 is a large sun deck - a wide terrace with living, dining, sunbed areas and a swimming pool, providing plenty of space for guests to relax in. A rounded superstructure is almost invisible from the sun deck to maintain permanent contact with the sea and surrounding environment. This is in keeping with the design brief, which was for an explorer yacht with large social spaces both inside and outside, offering close contact to the sea.
Inside an emphasis has been put on light neutral hues, combined with dark shades and some unique furniture pieces to achieve the Owner’s desire for a welcoming and elegant interior.

Power comes from twin MTU 10V 2000 M72 engines that allow her to reach a top speed of 14.5 knots, and give a range of 5,500nm at a speed of nine knots.
The RJ 130 is the first of the RJ line, a line of luxury explorer yachts, and she is expected to be delivered to her owner later this year. Two further hulls of the range, currently known as RJ115-28 and RJ115-29, have been sold and are currently under construction at Cantiere delle Marche’s Ancona facilities.
