Emerging from the construction shed at Feadship's Makkum facility in the Netherlands, Project 1012 advances to the next stage of fitting out before undergoing sea trials and eventual delivery.
The vessel is the first Feadship to carry full Hybrid Electric Class notation, representing a significant milestone for the builder's engineering department.
Crafted with design input from Sinot & the owner-related design office, alongside naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, Project 1012 is tailored for a repeat Feadship owner. Drawing on the owner's extensive yachting experience, informed requests have shaped every detail of this custom project, from the exterior styling to the detailed interior.
Measuring 91.8m (301.1ft) in length, the yacht's chamfered exterior contours complement a traditional flared bow, resulting in a modern-classic aesthetic. Despite its considerable size, the interior is thoughtfully designed to offer cozy family spaces, adorned with natural materials and finishes.
A key feature driving the owner's decision to build this yacht is the spacious beach club in the stern. Spanning a quarter of the lower deck's length, the superyacht's beach club boasts a large fixed stern platform, complemented by two fold-down platforms, creating 165 square meters of water-level lounging space.
The yacht's layout includes a side-loading garage between the engine room and beach club, accommodating two 10m (33ft) tenders, a ski boat, and various water toys. Forward, the galley, crew mess, and well-appointed crew accommodation can be found.
Working with the experienced owner, designers, and the owner's team has been a professional pleasure. Gathering the operational experience of the owner's team with the yard’s building experience has resulted in this modern-classic, state-of-art and full-custom new Feadship."

Direct access from the stern platform via sweeping staircases leads to the main deck aft, featuring a large pool and open-air lounge shaded by a deckhead overhang. Main deck forward hosts comfortable guest suites and staff cabins finished to luxury standards, while the upper decks house the master stateroom, family lounge, and wellness area. The sundeck serves as an observation vantage point, complete with a forward-facing sofa and sun loungers, while the aft deck is designated for storing two rescue tenders.
Project 1012's propulsion system incorporates two main engines, shaft-driven fixed pitch propellers, PTO/PTI electric motors of 560kW each, and 1MW of Li-ion batteries. Its innovative hybrid system allows for both conventional diesel and electric propulsion modes, enhancing efficiency and performance while minimizing the vessel's environmental impact.
