Formerly known as Project Gemini, superyacht RELIANCE is part of the 55m Steel FDHF series which began production in 2013.
Powered by a pair of MTU 8V 4000 M63 engines, RELIANCE boasts a range of 4,500 nautical miles while cruising at 13 knots and was originally started as a speculative build.
With the Owner joining the building process 15 months down the line, Heesen had ample time to tailor the build to the specified requirements, including a new layout for the master cabin bathroom and windows in the transom door, for abundant natural light in the beach club.
The shark grey hull perfectly matches the muscular exterior by Frank Laupman and echoes the distinctive ‘shark tooth’ in the overhang of the superstructure.

Showcasing collaborative design work from Omega Architects on the exteriors and interiors by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, the end result is a strong and streamlined appearance with neutral interior tones to reflect natural daylight filtering through the windows.
Scheduled for delivery in Autumn 2022, motor yacht RELIANCE can accommodate up to 12 guests in a composition of six cabins.
An 82sqm master apartment is situated forward on the main deck, with two doubles and two twins located on the lower deck. A VIP cabin completes the layout on the bridge deck, offering all staying guests impeccable views from all angles of the Heesen Steel yacht.
