Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.2m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 271 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2000. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in September 2002.

Exterior Design

Adytum's steel hull exudes robust elegance, while her aluminum superstructure, crafted with precision in the Netherlands, adds a contrasting sense of grace and lightness to her stature.

The yacht's silhouette is timeless, with classic lines that speak to a heritage of luxury seafaring. As one approaches Adytum, the eye is drawn to the expansive aft cockpit, a welcoming space that beckons guests to relax and enjoy the panoramic ocean views. This area serves as the perfect transitional point from the vast blue seas to the yacht's luxurious interiors.

Moving upwards, the yacht's upper deck is a marvel of design, equipped with a powerful crane on each side for handling tenders and water toys. The presence of a Bimini top offers a shaded haven, allowing for alfresco dining and leisure while taking in the surroundings. The careful positioning of life rafts and communication domes demonstrates a commitment to safety and connectivity, integral components of the modern yachting experience.

The sun deck is a crowning glory of Adytum, an idyllic retreat where guests can bask in the sun on steamer chairs or enjoy the coolness of the shade under the glass atrium top. It is a space designed for ultimate relaxation, with every detail, from the alignment of the radars to the polished woodwork, reflecting an ethos of precision and care.

Adytum's bow area, accessible via well-appointed side decks, features the anchor handling gear and a bosun's locker discreetly houses essential deck equipment. The ship's bell and seating area at the bow offer a quiet space for contemplation, where one can marvel at the yacht's craftsmanship up close or simply enjoy the sound of water breaking against the hull.

Adytum's remarkable fusion of classic charm and contemporary technology not only delights but promises an unparalleled experience on the water.

Interior Design

As you enter the main saloon, the attention to detail is unmistakable. The space is a testament to the artistry of woodwork, with sumptuous finishes that provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. Here, guests can enjoy the latest entertainment systems, discreetly integrated to maintain the classic aesthetic. A hidden television rises gracefully, ensuring that form and function are in perfect alignment.

Moving into the central lobby, the yacht reveals a beautiful atrium that serves as the heart of the vessel. It is here where the grandeur of Adytum’s design truly comes to light, with a stunning display of artisanship. The atrium not only connects the various levels of the yacht but also serves as a striking visual centerpiece.

The galley and crew areas reflect the same commitment to quality, with a fully equipped kitchen that allows for the preparation of gourmet meals.

Accommodation

Accommodating up to ten guests, Adytum offers a sumptuous retreat across her well-appointed cabins. The yacht features a full-beam owner's suite, which is a sanctuary of tranquility and grandeur. The suite includes a private office, allowing for quiet contemplation or conducting business against the backdrop of the open seas. This space transitions seamlessly into an expansive en suite bathroom, where guests will find a luxurious shower, an opulent bath, and fine marble finishes that evoke a sense of timeless luxury.

The bedroom portion of the owner's suite is a testament to masterful craftsmanship, featuring exquisite woodwork and subtle lighting that creates a warm, inviting ambiance. The suite boasts ample storage, including hanging lockers and drawers, all designed to accommodate extended stays on the water with ease and elegance. The thoughtful inclusion of a direct doorway to the toilet enhances both convenience and privacy.

In addition to the owner's suite, Adytum offers a VIP guest cabin that rivals the owner's accommodations in terms of comfort and sophistication. With its own set of lavish furnishings and ample storage, it ensures that no guest feels anything less than pampered.

Two additional guest cabins, one with twin beds and another with a double bed, complete the guest accommodations. Each cabin is a haven of comfort, featuring en suite bathrooms, storage solutions, and entertainment systems. The yacht's intelligent layout allows for guest and crew movement to be separate, maintaining privacy and tranquility for all on board.

Adytum's crew quarters for up to six members reflect the vessel's overall commitment to excellence. Three crew cabins, each with en suite facilities, ensure that the crew enjoys comfort and privacy. This attention to crew accommodation not only speaks to the respect for those who sail her but also ensures the highest level of service for guests.

Performance & Capabilities

Under the hood, Adytum boasts a pair of Caterpillar 3206 engines, each producing a solid 480 horsepower. With this power configuration, Adytum isn't designed to chase the horizon with breakneck speed but rather to cruise with grace and poise. Her cruising speed is a comfortable 11.5 knots, which allows her guests to enjoy the journey as much as the destination. This speed strikes a balance between efficiency and comfort, ensuring a serene experience while voyaging across the waters.

One of Adytum's most impressive mechanical capabilities is her range. This yacht can confidently undertake long voyages with a range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles. Such endurance opens up a world of possibilities for extended exploration, uninhibited by the frequent need to refuel. It empowers her owners and guests to chart courses to the most secluded and exotic locations on the globe, making Adytum a true globetrotter.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down.
