Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.4m beam and a 3.35m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 850 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2022. This was the sixth yacht built on the Amels 60 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in October 2024.
Exterior Design
The yacht’s sleek blue hull features an almost straight bow with a slight rake, while trapezoidal windows with chamfered frames offer expansive views from the Owner’s Suite. Four large trapezoid-shaped windows on the Main Deck flood the suite with natural light, and the folding balcony extends into a 7-square-metre (75 sq ft) terrace—ideal for outdoor breakfasts. The 27-metre (89 ft) Sun Deck includes a shaded area beneath the hardtop, complete with parallel teak lines, and a bar for al fresco enjoyment. Two stairways and a dumbwaiter ensure discreet crew service, while optional glass windbreakers and illuminated teak accents add flair.
Up front, the forward-facing Portuguese Bridge offers a great seating area near the wheelhouse. A giant 38-square-metre (409 sq ft) Swim Platform leads directly to the multifunctional Beach Club, allowing easy access for guests whether at anchor or docked. The yacht also carries a 9-metre (30 ft) luxury tender on the foredeck, alongside a 6.2-metre (20 ft) crew/rescue tender and two 3-person waverunners. The deck crane deploys the tenders and waverunners effortlessly.
The Bridge Deck Lounge is an entertainment hub, with almost 60 square metres (630 sq ft) of space, opening to a combined indoor-outdoor area of 110 square metres (1,184 sq ft). With 486 square metres (5,231 sq ft) of exterior deck space and up to 2.2-metre (7 ft 2 in) ceiling heights, this yacht ensures open, airy living throughout.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht 21.12 is currently under wraps. However, the chosen designer Winch Design offers two distinct options for the Amels 60 range: "Barefoot" and "Moonlight" interiors.
The Barefoot interior is focused on a light and warm atmosphere. It features a neutral color palette complemented by hints of powder blue. Sustainable woods and rattan are used to create organic forms, enhancing the welcoming feel of the space. This design is tactile, inviting, and encourages relaxation.
In contrast, the Moonlight interior brings a darker and edgier vibe. Inspired by the experience of a moonlit swim, this option incorporates deeper colors and slick textures. Moonlight creates a sophisticated environment, suitable for both relaxed and formal entertaining.
The Bridge Deck Lounge serves as a central hub for dining and entertainment. Spanning almost 60 square metres, the lounge is filled with natural light and can be expanded by an additional 10 square metres if desired. Sliding glass doors connect the lounge to the aft deck, offering a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor areas. The total combined space reaches 110 square metres.
The interior spaces across the yacht cover 324 square metres, spread over four guest decks. The design also allows for ceiling heights of up to 2.2 metres, ensuring a spacious feel throughout. The materials and design elements focus on functionality and comfort, while the choice of interior options has allowed for a level of personalization.
Accommodation
The yacht 21.12 features accommodations for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owner's cabin located on the main deck and 1 VIP cabin.
The standout accommodation is the Owners Suite, located on the Main Deck. It is highlighted by large trapezoid-shaped windows, which are a signature of Espen Øino's design, offering floor-to-ceiling views and ample natural light. The suite also includes a folding balcony, creating a 7 square-metre terrace, offering a private outdoor space for the owner.
She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel-electric MTU (12V 2000 M72) engines, motor yacht 21.12 is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 122,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
