Damen Yachting has announced that another Amels 60 has commenced the outfitting phase at their principal shipyard in the Netherlands.
This development marks a milestone for hull number eight of the Amels 60 Limited Editions series, first introduced in 2019. As you could probably guess, the Amels 60 is a 60m (197 ft) yacht with a gross tonnage of 850 GT, capable of accommodating 12 guests and 12 crew members, plus the captain. The yacht is on track for delivery in 2025.
The Amels 60 is known for its exterior design by Espen Øino, featuring signature geometric windows, and custom interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard. This particular vessel represents the design studio's second project in the Amels 60 series.
The London-based team has drawn inspiration from a modern and smart approach to interior design, allowing for personalization and maximizing the yacht's features. The result? A relaxed ambiance for comfortable onboard experiences.
Marking a busy period for the company, Damen Yachting's main facilities have seen both a launch and a delivery within the last two weeks.
