Delivered in 2015, Azamanta is a 180'5" motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Heesen. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Omega Architects, while her interiors are the work of Sinot Yacht Design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 31'6" beam and a 10'4" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 600 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the 55m Steel design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in May 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2015.

Exterior Design

The exterior of Azamanta, designed by Omega Architects, stands out with its bold, angular lines and distinctive “shark tooth” detail on the wheelhouse, giving the yacht a commanding presence. A defining feature of this 55-metre vessel is the introduction of vertical windows, a new direction for Heesen at the time. Paired with glass insertions in the bulwarks, this design maximises natural light and strengthens the connection between the interior and surrounding seascapes.

Built with the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) - a groundbreaking development by Van Oossanen Naval Architects - Azamanta prioritises efficiency and performance, making her well-suited for global exploration. Her hull, finished in a rich Mocha Mousse shade, was a striking choice at the time of her 2015 launch, a decade ahead of its recognition as the Pantone Colour of the Year 2025.

Outdoor living is a key element of the design, with a 110-square-metre sundeck providing ample space for relaxation and entertainment. A rigid cover over the Jacuzzi can be converted into a stage, transforming the deck into an open-air venue for performances. The owner’s private terrace, furnished for intimate dining, enhances the experience of luxury and seclusion on board.

Interior Design

Azamanta's interior design features a blend of Metropolitan-style Art Déco and nature-inspired motifs. This combination is interpreted by Sinot Design, who have utilized dark patterned wood paired with light silk fabrics to create a comfortable, home-like ambience. The main salon and lounges are filled with natural light, thanks to the vertical windows and glass insertions in the bulwarks.

The yacht's interior spaces are practical and functional, designed to enhance the onboard experience. The salons provide ample room for relaxation and socialization, with furniture that complements the overall design theme. The use of bespoke mosaics in the unique ensuite bathrooms adds a touch of elegance to the interior, maintaining a consistent design language throughout the yacht.

Accommodation

Azamanta offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000M53) 1,850hp engines, motor yacht Azamanta is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 26,417 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a beach club allows for easy access to the water and allows those on board to easily unwind. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Azamanta also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
