The 130'1" motor yacht Kartal Yuvasi was delivered to her owners in 1987 by Dutch shipyard Heesen. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Mulder Design, while Art Line is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 25' beam and a 7'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 236 GT (Gross Tonnes).

She was delivered to her owners in July 1987.

Exterior Design

The aft deck provides guests with a welcoming space, featuring bench seating and a central bar area complete with a built-in fridge and sink, ideal for entertainment or leisure. Access to the yacht is facilitated by a passerelle extending from the transom, allowing for easy boarding from the dock.

Lionshare's outdoor areas on the upper decks are thoughtfully laid out to maximize space utility. The bridge aft deck houses a teak table suitable for alfresco dining and casual seating arrangements that invite relaxation. The sundeck, although not expansive, is smartly arranged with a hot tub, sun pads, and additional seating surrounding the area, along with a secondary helm station for navigation.

Lionshare's bow features practical storage for water toys and tenders, ensuring that guests have ready access to recreational equipment.

Interior Design

Upon stepping into the main salon of Lionshare, guests are greeted with a sophisticated ambiance highlighted by a classic blue and white color scheme. High-quality soft furnishings, combined with the natural light filtering through the generous windows, create an inviting atmosphere perfect for socializing or relaxation.

The salon's flooring is finished in premium wood, offering a warm contrast to the lighter tones of the upholstery and wall coverings. Polished metal accents and glass elements are strategically placed to enhance the interior's contemporary appeal without overwhelming the senses.

Moving forward, the formal dining area provides a space for guests to enjoy culinary delights. The dining table is surrounded by comfortable seating, and the area is well-lit, ensuring that meals are both a visual and gastronomic experience. Adjacent to the dining space is the galley, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and ample preparation surfaces. 

The helm of Lionshare features a sleek and professional layout with four large monitors, a chart plotting station, and a comprehensive ship monitoring system. The bridge's color scheme, akin to a stealth gray, provides a focused environment for the captain and crew. Controls are laid out intuitively, ensuring efficient operation of the yacht.

Accommodation

Lionshare is capable of hosting up to 10 guests across five well-appointed suites. The owner's cabin, situated on the main deck for ease of access and privacy, is a full-beam suite. Featuring a comprehensive desk area, ample closet space, and not one, but two en-suite bathrooms. One en-suite includes a large Jacuzzi tub, bidet, toilet, and vanity, while the other offers a stand-up shower, toilet, and vanity, catering to the preferences and needs of the owner.

Below deck, guests will find additional staterooms, including a VIP cabin that spans the full beam of the vessel. This cabin features an en-suite bathroom with a separate tub and shower, as well as a comfortable lounging area. Storage is abundant, with closets lining the wall.

Adjacent to the VIP cabin are two double cabins, each with their own distinct charm. One cabin includes a television, desk, and an en-suite with a rainfall shower, toilet, and vanity. The other double cabin offers guests two single beds, complete with their own en-suite as well.

Toward the bow, a bonus cabin is available, which houses a double bed, a single bed, and a Pullman berth. This flexible accommodation also includes an en-suite with a stand-up shower, making it an ideal space for additional guests or children.

Lionshare has the capacity to accommodate up to seven crew members, ensuring that every aspect of the guests' stay is managed with professional care.

Performance & Capabilities

Lionshare houses a pair of CAT C32 ACERT engines, each delivering 1800 horsepower. These powerful engines enable the yacht to achieve a top speed of approximately 20 knots, while her cruising speed sits comfortably at 12 knots.

 At a reduced speed of 10 knots, she boasts a considerable range of 4,000 nautical miles, empowering her owners to embark on extensive oceanic adventures with confidence.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Kartal Yuvasi also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
