The 55m motor yacht Purpose was delivered to her owners in 2006 by American shipyard Trinity Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Trinity Yachts, while Dee Robinson Interiors is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.05m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 860 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2002. She was delivered to her owners in June 2005.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Purpose is marked by its modern profile, raked bow and clean lines. The yacht features expansive deck areas designed for both social gatherings and private relaxation. The sun-deck includes a Jacuzzi, large sun-pads, umbrellas, and a wet-bar with stool seating. A central informal dining area is sheltered by an arch with a retractable awning for shade.
The sky lounge opens to a large aft deck where a dining table seats twelve guests for alfresco dining. The yacht's construction includes a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, with teak decking. Purpose is painted in light blue with a white superstructure and black boot top, presenting a refined appearance.
Interior Design
The main salon is equipped with a large screen television and an advanced entertainment system featuring surround sound. A baby grand player piano and an extensive library of music, books, and DVDs complete the entertainment options available to the guests.
The dining salon serves as a venue for formal meals, which are presented with fine linens, delicate stemware, and table service. The chef is capable of preparing a variety of meals that cater to different tastes and dietary needs, from hearty dishes to health-focused cuisine.
The skylounge features rich fabrics and leather in its decor, creating a club-like atmosphere. This space is equipped with a large satellite television, a card table, and a well-stocked bar with ample seating. Large windows provide panoramic views of the surrounding cruising grounds.
One of the interior highlights is the staircase atrium, which features wood and wrought iron elements arranged in a circular design, culminating in a marble floor on the lower deck.
Accommodation
Motor Yacht Purpose provides luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 ensuite staterooms. The owner’s suite is designed to offer privacy and comfort, featuring generous windows that allow plenty of natural light. It includes a private office, ample storage space, a dressing area, and a vanity. The ensuite bathrooms, finished in gold and marble, come with a separate jet shower and a Jacuzzi bath.
In addition to the owner’s suite, Purpose has four beautiful king-sized guest cabins and one twin cabin, each with its own ensuite bathroom. These guest cabins are designed to offer maximum comfort and privacy for all onboard.
Purpose is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512B) 12-cylinder 1,650hp engines, motor yacht Purpose is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 104,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Purpose also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
