Delivered in 2009, Nina Lu is a 141'1" motor yacht built by American shipyard Trinity Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Trinity Yachts, while Patrick Knowles is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 27'11" beam and a 7'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 399 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2006 with the keel laid under the project name 'Marsha Kay'. Launched in February 2008 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in January 2009.

Accommodation

Nina Lu offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Nina Lu is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 11,994 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,606 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

Nina Lu also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
