Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 32'10" beam and a 10' draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 832 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The aft deck, expansive and well-appointed, serves as a versatile space for relaxation and social gatherings. It is complemented by robust guardrails and a transformable beach club area, which, when deployed, offers an inviting retreat at sea level. This area, currently not extended due to proximity to the dock, demonstrates the yacht's adaptability to various mooring conditions.

Storage for tenders is thoughtfully positioned elsewhere on the yacht, a decision that underscores the builder's consideration for the vessel's clean lines and uncluttered spaces. Each aspect of Tamteen's exterior has been designed with a specific purpose in mind, ensuring that form and function coexist without compromise.

Boarding the vessel through a substantial passerelle, guests are greeted by the impressive main deck aft, which leads seamlessly into the interior. Here, the automatic door opens with a simple press of a button, transitioning from the imposing exterior to the tranquil interior spaces.

Moving upward, the sundeck crowns the yacht with an array of amenities, including sunbathing areas, a bar, and a large jacuzzi, all serving to enhance the on-deck experience. The upper deck further includes a crane for the effortless transfer of goods and equipment onto the yacht, reinforcing the notion of practical elegance.

Throughout Tamteen, the choice of materials, from wood paneling to soft furnishings, is guided by durability and timeless appeal.

Interior Design

The main deck saloon is equipped with a power-operated door leading into a welcoming and tranquil environment. Inside, the separate dining room is notable for its considerable size, accommodating numerous guests comfortably for formal meals.

Tamteen's interior boasts a dedicated indoor dining area that is distinct from the main saloon. This space is characterized by its significant dimensions, allowing for large gatherings around the table. The dining room is set apart by an archway that reinforces the notion of a dedicated space for enjoying meals.

The salon and dining areas are designed to provide a serene and inviting ambiance, with materials and finishes chosen to enhance this atmosphere. The interior design includes a day heads section on the main deck, convenient for guests and characterized by understated sophistication.

The bridge office is a space dedicated to navigation planning and monitoring, laid out with practicality in mind. The pantry serves as a supplementary area for food and beverage preparation, featuring necessary equipment within easy reach for efficient service.

The upper lounge and adjacent gym are designed with a focus on casual comfort and health. The lounge area is furnished with a seating arrangement conducive to relaxation and socialization, while the gym is outfitted with a selection of exercise equipment for maintaining fitness routines on board.

Accommodation

Tamteen's accommodations include seven cabins to welcome 14 guests onboard.

At the heart of the guest experience is the owner's suite, which includes a private salon for hairdressing, ensuring that the owner can prepare for the day. Adjoining the salon is a large dressing room, surpassing the expectations of a typical walk-in wardrobe. The space includes an array of separate wardrobes and storage solutions to cater to an extensive collection of garments and accessories.

The en suite bathroom attached to the owner's suite is the most spacious on the yacht, featuring a Jacuzzi bath and a separate shower, providing a spa-like experience within the comfort of the owner's own quarters. The space is designed for serenity and relaxation, with additional facilities including a bidet and toilet situated within easy access.

Guests aboard Tamteen are also treated to premium accommodations, including a VIP guest cabin that boasts the same level of attention to detail and comfort as the owner's suite. This cabin is designed to impress with its classic elegance and comes with a full bathroom, complete with a bath, shower, bidet, and toilet.

Additional guest cabins are available on the lower deck, all of which maintain a high standard of luxury. These cabins are generously proportioned and come equipped with full-size beds, sitting areas, and ample wardrobe space. Each cabin features an en suite bathroom with a bath – a rarity on yachts – ensuring that guests can enjoy a soak in privacy.

For guests preferring separate beds, Tamteen offers twin-bedded cabins. These rooms maintain the same high standards as the double cabins, providing all the necessary comforts and amenities without compromise. Each twin cabin also includes a private bathroom, complete with a shower and additional storage.

The crew aboard Tamteen are well-accommodated in dedicated crew quarters for up to 16. The cabins are designed to ensure that the crew has their own comfortable and private space, allowing them to rest and maintain the excellent service they provide to guests. The crew area includes several double cabins, all en suite, reflecting the yacht's commitment to the well-being of both guests and crew.
