Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.3m beam and a 3.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,503 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2007 with the keel laid under the project name 'Amels 6501'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in December 2010 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 2011.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Ventum Maris is straightforward and functional. The yacht features a raked bow, which contributes to its overall sleek profile and enhances its performance in various sea conditions. The deck is constructed from teak, a durable and classic choice known for its resilience and aesthetic appeal. The hull and superstructure are both painted white, providing a clean and timeless look. This color uniformity is contrasted by the black boot top and below-the-waterline areas, adding a subtle but effective visual distinction.

Ventum Maris includes a touch-and-go helipad for easy access, a practical addition that enhances its versatility. The tender garage is spacious and houses custom Yachtwerft Meyer tenders, ensuring that guests have reliable transportation to and from the yacht. The exterior also includes a guest elevator, providing convenience and accessibility across all decks.

On the sundeck, guests will find a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool, along with a bar positioned to offer drinks without requiring a trip indoors. The substantial outdoor dining table is well-suited for alfresco dining, making it a practical space for meals.

Interior Design

The interior design of Ventum Maris focuses on contemporary aesthetics and functionality. The main deck features a saloon with three spacious sofas and two chairs surrounding a sizable coffee table. This area is designed with light wooden flooring and neutral-toned ceilings, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Large windows provide ample natural sunlight.

Adjacent to the main saloon is the dining room, which includes a rounded table that seats eleven. Sliding doors connect this area to the main aft deck, facilitating an easy transition between spaces.

The second saloon adopts a vibrant contemporary style. It includes a spacious sofa, three armchairs, and light wooden paneling on the walls. A bar is conveniently placed to allow guests to enjoy cocktails. The upper saloon also doubles as a cinema, equipped with a screen that rolls out from a banquette.

The glass lift efficiently connects four of the decks, including the upper level, where two guest cabins are located. These cabins are long and narrow, featuring extensive windows that provide expansive views of the sea. Additionally, Ventum Maris features an air-conditioned gym.

Accommodation

Ventum Maris accommodates up to 12 guests in a range of well-appointed cabins. The master suite is a full-beam space characterized by its wooden paneling, which adds a cozy charm reminiscent of an alpine chalet. The suite includes an adjacent office space, allowing for both relaxation and productivity. The ensuite bathroom features a black marble sink and yellow furnishings, creating a visually appealing contrast.

Ventum Maris houses 20 crew members, including the captain. This ensures that service and maintenance are handled proficiently, contributing to a comfortable and seamless experience for guests.
