The Dutch shipyard Amels have announced the successful delivery of the latest model from the Limited Editions 180 series. Measuring up at 55 metres, Nomad is set to spend her first summer in the Mediterranean before heading over to the US and Caribbean for the foreseeable future.
Boasting long lines and an attractive blue hull, motor yacht Nomad features design collaboration with exterior designer Tim Heywood and the new owner. According to the shipyard, the colour scheme has been designed to emphasize the lines of the bridge and sundecks.
In addition to the collaborative design efforts for the eyecatching exteriors, the interiors for the latest Amels 180 model also feature extensive collaborative work from the California based boutique studio Bonesteel Trout Hall and the in house team at Amels.
The owner was looking for proven ocean-going performance so he and his family can enjoy destinations around the world. Creating such a bespoke yachting experience while still offering delivery in less than a year is a great compliment to our design and project teams and demonstrates how well our Limited Editions approach works.

Capable of accommodating up to 12 guests, the Amels 180 boasts an impressive social scene which allows owners to entertain throughout voyages. With a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles, guests can make the most of the onboard experience by relaxing on the 190 square metre sundeck and take in the stunning panoramic views.
Interior indulgence on the bridge deck sky lounge also provides exceptional views as well as plush seating and calming decor. Further seating is available in the main salon on the main deck, along with an interior dining option plus two balconies for fresh sea air.
A key highlight of the Amels 180 motor yacht is the impressive owner's suite. Also situated on the main deck, the owner's suite boasts remarkable views and has it's own exclusive fold down balcony.
With a top speed of 15.5 knots, Nomad has already embarked on her maiden voyage and Amels have confirmed that construction on the next Amels 180 model has begun for a summer 2020 delivery.
