Bilgin Yachts announce sister ships to join largest yacht built in Turkey

Hulls two and three of Bilgin’s 263 series are set to be launched and will join 80m (262ft) TATIANA as the largest privately built yachts in Turkey.

The largest private yacht built in Turkey will soon be joined by two sister ships as Bilgin Yachts announce hull two and three of its 263 series will be hitting the water over the next 24 months.

TATIANA was launched in February 2020 and, at 80m (262ft), made history as the biggest yacht built in Turkey. Her sisterships will be on the same scale sizewise, but with some notable differences elsewhere.

The second hull, due for delivery in 2022, has a different interior design in terms of the colors and materials used, and sports golden touches on the decks.

The third hull features a more optimized hull and decks. Emrecan Özgün, CEO of Unique Yacht Design who are responsible for the naval architecture and exterior design, explains more: “This unit offers technical improvements such as a new ventilation system and an increased generator capacity, the third unit also promises 20% larger volume both in interior and exterior areas. She will have a different layout than her predecessors. The Owner’s deck is located above the main deck for more privacy and the wheelhouse is located on the top deck for better bridge visibility, while the staircase located in the center of the hull is larger than the other units as well.”

Bilgin’s 263 series is a collaboration between Turkish compatriots Unique Yacht Design and H2 Yacht Design who are responsible for the interior areas. The 1,689 GRT yachts sleep 16 guests across eight cabins.

The series also has a strong eco-friendly emphasis with SCR systems connected to the main engines and systems, a custom exhaust system that the yard says provides 100% clean air emissions and full IMO TIER III compliance.
