Originally called Project Silence, Al Reem's journey began in 2018. After years of expert-level design and build, her sale was successfully completed in February 2022 through a partnership with Bluewater Yachting.
Al Reem: Bigger, Better, and Built for Endless Voyages
Al Reem is the third hull in Bilgin's flagship 263 series, following the success of her sisterships Tatiana and Leona. Launched in 2020, Tatiana marked Bilgin Yachts' entry into the superyacht industry as she became the largest private yacht built in Turkey at the time.
Leona, launched in October 2022, is the second unit of the 80-meter Bilgin 263 series. She features a red and white exterior and offers more exclusive and spacious accommodations compared to Tatiana. Leona won the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards 2024 in the category of Outstanding Exterior Motor Yacht Design for yachts 60m and above, recognizing her exceptional design.
While the new superyacht shares the engineering package and design with her predecessors, she stands out with a 20% increase in internal volume, enhancing comfort for extended cruising. The refined superstructure adds to her performance and appeal.
Her exterior design and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design, which has maintained the sleek, contemporary look characteristic of the series. The interiors, by H2 Yacht Design, focus on understated luxury, employing materials like Macassar ebony, eucalyptus wood, and marble. Together, these elements create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Each of the three sisterships is distinct... we tailored Al Reem’s layout and design to deliver a sleek and luxurious experience while maintaining a connection to nature.”

The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms, supported by a crew of 20. The owner’s deck is a defining element, featuring a forward-facing suite with 300-degree views, sliding doors to a private terrace, and an integrated Jacuzzi. A glass elevator links all decks, delivering easy access throughout the vessel.
Design innovations include relocating the wheelhouse to the top deck, a move that improves bridge visibility while optimizing guest spaces. The upper deck is designed with entertainment in mind, featuring a large swimming pool that offers a tranquil space to relax. Throughout, attention to detail is evident with thoughtful elements like a circular elevator incorporated into the staircase.
A Focus on Speed and Sustainability
Performance is another strong point. Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M73 engines, Al Reem reaches a top speed of 19 knots and cruises comfortably at 15 knots. With a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 11 knots, she is well-suited for long-distance journeys, whether it’s a Mediterranean summer or a transatlantic adventure.
While Al Reem doesn’t claim the title of the largest or most extravagant yacht in the industry, she brings thoughtful updates to the Bilgin 263 series. Her expanded volume, smart layout, and commitment to environmental standards make her a solid choice for owners seeking a union of comfort and capability.
Sustainability is also part of the package. Like her sister ships, Al Reem is equipped with advanced exhaust systems that produce 100% clean air emissions, meeting IMO Tier III standards. This environmentally focused design aligns with the growing demand for greener solutions from both yacht owners and builders.
