Feadship delivers 103m superyacht ULYSSES to new owner

The highly anticipated 102.6m (337ft) Feadship 1011 superyacht, ULYSSES, has been delivered to its owner and is now said to be en route to Bergen, Norway.

Originating from the Zwijnenburg Shipyard in 2020, ULYSSES' hull and superstructure took shape before making their way to the Feadship Makkum facility for the final stages of outfitting and completion, with the superyacht launching in October 2023.

At just under 3,000GT, ULYSSES bears an exterior design by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, characterized by a sheer bow and clean lines, in addition to naval architecture by Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture — marking the tenth collaboration between Feadship and Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.

The owner was said to have been deeply involved in every aspect of the superyacht build, resulting in the vessel being adorned with 1,100 square meters of exterior glass, encompassing twenty sliding doors and twelve windbreaks. The main deck aft also features a winter garden with sliding glass panels to blur the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. Furthermore, the vessel offers accommodation for up to 20 guests and a crew of 30.

As one would expect from a superyacht, ULYSSES’ onboard amenities are spectacular and include four outdoor hot tubs, a main deck swimming pool spanning the full height of the deck, and a helicopter hangar beneath the forward helipad. Eight hull doors also feature, hiding the largest tender garage door ever installed on a Feadship vessel.

A standout design element is Ulysses' single-deck engine room — featuring twin MTU engines — that helps to optimize guest spaces. At full power, ULYSSES can reach a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, with Quantum Marine Stabilizers working to enhance stability and comfort when cruising.
