Feadship’s 71.5m (235ft) superyacht VANISH, formerly known as Project 819, has taken the next steps towards her delivery as she made her way out of the Netherlands and headed towards the North Sea to complete her sea trials.
Sporting interior and exterior design by renowned studio Harrison Eidsgaard, superyacht VANISH was Feadship’s sixth and final launch of 2020 when she left its Royal van Lent facilities at the end of December to complete her final outfitting phase.
Superyacht VANISH has been built for a repeat client of the yard and features classic lines, a traditional flared bow and tall windows. Pictures also suggest a social sundeck with a Jacuzzi and a spacious foredeck area.
Established in 1949, Dutch brand Feadship has become a world-leader in superyacht design and construction with two separate shipyards and a design house.
World's Largest Yachts
Feadship has a pedigree for building large superyachts, having delivered 83 since the year 2000 with an average length of 62.4m (205ft). In fact 11 of the Top 100 world’s largest superyachts by length come from Feadship, the largest being 110m (361ft) superyacht ANNA that was delivered in 2018.
The Dutch yard will look to build upon another strong year for them in 2020 that saw three 70m plus superyachts delivered: including the 99.95m (328ft) superyacht MOONRISE, which was the largest superyacht by waterline length to be built in the Netherlands and entered the new more accurate YachtBuyer YB100 Largest yachts by Gross Tonnage table - down to her large internal volume.
This year looks like being even busier for Feadship with nine yachts in the pipeline to be delivered. These include two 90m plus yachts - 94m (308ft) superyacht VIVA and 95m (312ft) yacht project 1009.
