Heesen reveal details of new 50m Steel series

Heesen has released further information regarding its forthcoming 50m Steel series, with construction scheduled to begin Summer 2024.

Originally announced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October 2022, the new superyacht has, until now, been shrouded in mystery.

Like pre-existing Heesen yachts for sale, the new 50m Steel is set to feature a Fast Displacement steel hull with hybrid technologies for optimal performance as well as a silent cruise capability.

A detailed brief created between the engineering teams and Heesen’s Marketing Director, Mark van Heffen, reportedly comes as a result of extensive market research and gained experience from the release of previous lines to create something modern-day owners are looking for.

Gearing up to join the Heesen 55m Steel and 60m Steel in the popular Heesen Steel series, the smaller model may have less in the capacity of gross tonnage standing at 499, but the vision coming from collaborative designer Harrison Eidsgaard is speaking volumes.

The profile is not radical or extravagant but refined and timeless. This is a yacht conceived to stand the test of time.

Looking at the initial designs, guests onboard will marvel at the exceptional exteriors, with a split-level aft deck overlooking an infinity pool, that in turn overlooks the spacious swim platform.

The alfresco lifestyle seamlessly merges with the interior thanks to extensive glazing around the main deck and sliding windows for a free-flowing breeze.

As Heesen engineers and the team of Harrison Eidsgaard work to transform the design drawings into an iconic superyacht over the next six months we look forward to bringing your updates as the process continues.
