Horizon releases images of the new FD87 Skyline

In preparation for the European debut of its 10th hull, Horizon Yachts has released some images of its stunning new 27m FD87 Skyline model due to appear at both the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show,

Offering amenities often found on vessels measuring up at 30 metres and over, the FD87 Skyline offers more space than previous models in the FD Series as well as a roomy 7.11-metre beam.

Combining the designs of all the previous FD models in the range, the updated look and conceptual design of the FD87 has been adapted using feedback from owners to create a vessel truly tailored yacht.

Continuing in the successful line of FD launches from Horizon Yachts, the popularity of the range has been made clear with 25 FD Series yachts being produced within a three-year parameter.

Spacious exteriors on board the FD87 allows for plenty of socialising and relaxation during transit, aided by the additional length upped from the previous FD85 model.

Entry to the vessel is a seamless transition from the docks with a roomy fully equipped beach club. Guests wanting to make the most of the views straight away will enjoy the outstanding views from the foredeck.

Furnished with a comfortable settee and dinette set up, guests can opt to catch up over some afternoon drinks or lay back on the spacious sunpad to start enjoying the warm weather.

For even more enticing views, guests can adjourn for the evening on to the aft upper deck where a fully equipped bar, secondary dinette, lounge area and barbeque await an evening of cocktails under the stars.

Moving into the interior of the Horizon FD87, there's more abundant space to mingle and socialise with guests. The lavish main saloon features plenty of plush seating and a convertible dining table, which changes into a breakfast bar.

A key feature of the main saloon is a Hi/Lo partition and privacy door which effectively separates the forward galley from social areas. Even higher up on the upper deck, a closed-off skylounge provides more space for relaxing in the comforts of the yacht with plush seating and sweeping views.

In combination with the innovative use of oak woodwork, the abundant light filtering in through the expanse of windows around the interiors creates a light and airy atmosphere which is warm and inviting to owners and their guests.
