IGY Marinas expand portfolio to Ibiza

IGY Ibiza Marina becomes the 24th facility to wave the IGY marinas flag.

Extending its portfolio once again, IGY Marinas has won the rights to operate another marina situated just 10 minutes from Ibiza’s airport.

Responsible for operating marinas in 13 countries, IGY marinas has previously made the headlines for acquiring Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens in 2020 and other marinas including St Katharine Docks in London.

Putting forward a host of plans to enhance the current facility, IGY Marinas has proposed that following the summer season, additional amenities including concierge services, boutique shops, a marina office, crew facilities, power up to 1,600 amps, CCTV and more will be integrated.

Capable of accommodating superyachts up to 120m (394 feet), the Port of Ibiza is one of the only marinas in the Balearics with berths suitable for large yachts, just part of the appeal for the IGY acquisition.

Teaming up with Ocean Capital Partners, a previous IGY collaborator, and local hospitality firm Grupo Empresas Matutes there are some big plans in store to make Ibiza an even more attractive superyacht hub.
