Announced at the golden anniversary edition of the world famous Boot Dusseldorf show in January 2019, the British shipyard Princess Yachts unveiled more details on their brand new Superfly X95 model.

As the first model from the all new X class from Princess Yachts, the X95 brings a creative vessel to the fleet which has reimagined the concept of a flybridge. With the interiors and flybridge spanning almost the entire length of the yacht, the Superfly sets the benchmark for a unique experience at sea.

Like all units from the British shipyard, the X95 proudly boasts impeccable levels of quality craftmanship which comes as standard from the Plymouth based brand. Collaborative designwork from long term naval architect Bernard Olesinski and popular Italian design house Pininfarina have produced a vessel which proves to be a completely new concept for naval architecture and style.

Referred by Princess as an 'open concept', the Super Flybridge model uses space as its main focus and selling point. With extensive exteriors and large adaptable interiors, the vessel provides 10% extra exterior space and 40% extra interior space in comparison to traditional motoryacht designs. Designed for owners who wish to spend considerable time exploring and visiting new destinations, the innovative yacht is built for living.

A deep V hull enables a higher stability statistic than other traditional hull designs, with differences up to 15%. Accompanied by a wave piercing bow which not only extends the forward waterline, but extends aft to underneath the swim platform, the X95 ensures a smooth transition from comfortable cruising to max speeds during transit.

Borne from our aggressive investment strategy into new technology and world-class design, the X Class creates an entirely new segment, representing another significant stepin our new product programme. We continue to push the boundaries of yacht design and build abrand leadership position in the luxury yacht market.

On arrival at the vessel, guests can join the unique yacht via the swim platform which doubles as an innovative launch pad for a jet ski. Large exterior spaces can be found on the upper decks, with a private sanctuary at the foredeck, which can act as an ideal al fresco breakfast spot.

The Sundeck can entertain guests who love the great outdoors with a Naim Uniti Atom audio system and waterproof speakers. A huge aft flybridge hosts a covered al fresco dining option for guests to enjoy through the day or night but the Super Flybridge makes its name by extending through the fore of the Sky Lounge by making room for a spacious seating area with U shaped seating, a sunbathing area and a spa bath towards the bow. Spanning almost 22 metres/72 feet, the Super Flybridge is more than double the size of a flybridge found on yachts of the same range.

The main deck for the Princess X95 spans almost 18 metres/59 feet and features a wide expanse of full height glazing on both sides. Space is abundant and naturally lit with a comfortable sofa and coffee table area with an integrated ice maker and drinks refridgerator.

In addition to a private galley, the main deck also houses another key feature of the new X Class model, the master cabin. Complete with a private ensuite, the master cabin boasts a 270 degree panoramic sweep round the foredeck with tinted and strengthened glass windows. As an alternative to the impressive cabin, owners can substitute for a state of the art cinema lounge.

Ascending up to the Sky Lounge, guests can be entertained from dawn till dusk with a 4H UHD TV and Blu-Ray player with a Naim audio system. A large lounge area sets the scene with panoramic views around the vessel in a climate controlled zone with electric blinds.

“Inside and out, the X95 sets newstandards for yacht design. It is the ultimate in avant-garde yacht architecture and is testimony toour growing ambition to push the boundaries in the market.

Making your way down to the lower deck of the X95, guests can relax in comfort in interiors which continue the exquisite designwork from Pininfarina. A master stateroom dominates the center of the layout with a large double bed, private en-suite bathroom and a sofa/coffee table area.  Forward in the bow is a VIP cabin which also houses a large double bed plus a walk in wardrobe and private en-suite. Additional cabins on the lower deck can be twins or doubles, each with their own en-suites.

Powered by twin MAN V12 1900MHP engines, the X95 can reach top speeds of between 24-26 knots.
