Delivered in 2014, Ares is a 42.4m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Heesen. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Omega Architects, while Heesen is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 467 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2013 with the keel laid under the project name 'Kinesis'. Launched in October 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in October 2014.

Accommodation

Ares offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 3 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M72) 12-cylinder 1,448hp engines running at 2250rpm, motor yacht Ares is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 50,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
